They don't look at numbers only. In fact, it's not always about the numbers only . Aside the deal signed with an IOC, they also a massive project due for completion soon.

Bro,if all is well, skye bank wouldnt have pulled out to become a national bank. All is not well with Diamond bank.
The reason why people are buying it now is because the divestment will certainly reflect in their financial yr end result thereby improving their bottomline line.If i have the opportunity to buy now,i will buy but not above 1.00 because they really need to show us what achievements they used the money to achieve. If their Q1 result shows great improvement, the price will rally again.just my opinion though.

Really you won't buy Diamond above N1:00 but you willing to bet on good for nothing Carveton above N1:00

Shareholding structure actually looks good but trading volume is poor. You may want to consider long term instead of short term.
Shareholding info is from 2016 audited result while trade info is from easykobo.

Pls sir how do u get shareholding structure of companies on easykobo?

You can not. You get it from Audited results available on the NSE website.

http://www.nse.com.ng/Issuers-section/corporate-disclosures/company-results

It has a search feature if you are looking for the result of any company.

Sir peter, let me first say happy sunday to you.
Hope you attended sunday service today?
We are now in the era of buying numbers not just stocks.
I saw good numbers in fcmb @ Q2 2016 report only for them to have a drop in Q3 2016.
In 2017 Q1 and 2,the thing worsen.Fcmb has no numbers now comparing it to Q2 2016.
I still retain my holdings believing their will be improvement in the forthcoming results.
For now Diamond bank has no numbers when we measure their Q3 profit to 20+ outstanding shares.
My previous forcast price for diamond was 0.85kobo but i upgraded it to #1.00 because of this divestment news.
so bro dont be shaken by this upward movement.it still has a support @ #1,00 no matter where the price reaches now.

For caverton, nothing is wrong with the company.I will even like people to push down the price a little while i look for some cash to invest there for long term.

Pls TRY to buy numbers and not what you just like.Numbers is speaking these days no matter how illiquid a stock might be,with numbers it must draw peoples attention.

Since we are almost in a bull run.........every stock is a winner.........

Happy sunday.

The Technical Approach to Trading and Investing

Few human activities have been so exhaustively studied during the past
century, from so many angles and by so many different sorts of people, as
has the buying and selling of corporate securities. The rewards which the
stock market holds out to those who read it right are enormous; the penalties
it exacts from careless, dozing, or “unlucky” investors are calamitous. No
wonder it has attracted some of the world’s most astute accountants, analysts,
and researchers, along with a motley crew of eccentrics, mystics, and
“hunch players,” and a multitude of just ordinary hopeful citizens…..
