Some idiots are screaming why are they arrested, is it a legal tender in Nigeria?

This country is filled with foolish people. These guys say they don't want to be part of your country so why keep forcing them? They want to be self reliance.
This agitation will be passed on to their children and the children after them.
Nigeria is truly a country filled with foolish people.

You obviously don't know the meaning of a legal tender.

The Biafran currency was specifically banned. CFA was not banned, and I don't think it's not accepted. Besides, it's the currency for identified and legal neighboring countries. Bringing it up is unnecessary.

What do you mean that the Biafran currency is banned? Is the Biafran currency circulating anywhere as legal tender? Are people using it to trade anywhere? So why should anyone be arrested for having Biafran currency?

There is a board game called monopoly. Monopoly currency is used to play this game. So anyone seen with this game should be arrested for having monopoly money? Laughable

Is there a board game called biafra? That's the difference and you are not seeing it.

Biafra is a menace to the Nigerian government and everything concerning it is banned. And it is constitutional. Let's face facts here and stop bringing unrelated analogies.

Or is Biafra a game to you, why bring up monopoly, it's unrelated abeg.

In a country where Igbos have been labeled terrorists, anybody seen with the Biafran flag, currency or passports will be brought to the book. How can you not understand that?

Get your facts right. The only thing banned is IPOB and even that is in court and might be overturned.

Biafra has not been banned in anyway. Biafra cannot be banned under the laws of Nigeria because to do so is against chapter 4 of the constitution which allows freedom of expression and freedom of belief and freedom of conscience.

What is important here is why someone with Biafran currency should be arrested. What is the legality of arresting someone with Biafran currency when there is no country even called Biafra.

There are many people who have the old Biafran currency in their possesion. Unlike other currency which in Nigeria which people only had to take to the bank to change to the new version, such never happend with the Biafran currency. The end of the war saw many people with worthles Biafran pounds which many kept for the sake of posterity.

Are the Police going to start arresting everyone who kept the Biafran corrency from the war?

Azzin. My grandfather was in the East during the war. He used to have (I don't know if he still does) some of the old Biafran currency in his wardrobe. Strictly as mementos. When I was in secondary school, I'd take some of it to school to show my friends. So if someone does what I did in secondary school today, he could get arrested?

Crazy.

The daftest police in the world is the zoogerian police which is full of illiterate dumbsters, retired kidnappers, and ex-armed robbers.

A commissioner of police arrests 3 people with old notes of a former legal tender which you can even buy as an antique over the internet, he then jubilates like he got a double promotion. Meanwhile his fellow kidnappers and armed robber comrades are causing havoc on the streets with guns. Lmao!

What a zooo!
