Yes, i prefer my Hot 5 lite to the Hot 4 lite. Hot 5 lite is kinda revamped and the XOS is cool. Its slimmer than Hot 4 lite and the audio is loud. My battery seems to last longer or maybe its my imagination.

the design is nice and unique, it's light,camera is sharp, ba3 lasts 8hours on heavy use. though my phone hangs at times maybe it's 2much app and video cos i didn't put memory card and I have up-to 10movies and 1k photos

I just got the hyped hot 5 (I'm not trying to diss anyone here bikonu), the battery is great (nothing special about it), the problem I have with the phone goes thus
1. Anytime I reboot my phone, it just unlock by itself. Even tho it was locked before rebooting.
2. The display color I'm getting is not fair at all, you can imagine trying to watch a movie I've watched several times on my brother's phone(mind you, he's using hot 4 lite) only for it to look whiter. At first I thought it was the movie, then I tried another one and I thought I'm in for this one
3. The front camera na rubbish (no pun intended abeg). It just look like infinix didn't use complete color set for this hot 5 series.(ion know if that's even possible). But I guess that's what you should expect from a low budget phone. Right now, I won't mind going for the hot 4. Atleast the color combo is perfect (I don't know the terms phone gurus use)
I don't mind selling it off at the price of #32k for a serious buyer(i got it 37,500).
But not withstanding, the fingerprint is OK, and the wall paper designs are cool too...
Please, no one should quote me to say rubbish oo, I am speaking from my own point of view. Speak from your experience.

Stop being a wailer. The phone is fantastic except maybe you bought fake. I am using Hot 5 lite and really enjoying it. Was using Hot 4 lite (also a great fone) until i sold it it get the Hot 5 lite.

Yes, its the smooth back variant i got from SLOT. Buy the 360 degree protective case; i bought black. Its just 1K and those roadside sellers have it. It even makes the fone finer while giving it all round protection.

Rooting exposes your device to alot of dangers

When receiving a file like video, photos it does not get saved to memory card, it only saves in phone memory. And i choose sd card as my default write disk. I'll have have to transfer them to sd card manually.

A friend of mine bought the hot 5 lite and everytime he leaves an app(lets say he minimizes it)it closes and he didnt open any other app

Now i know the phone is 1gb ram but Is it supposed to close eveytime,i use a 1gb ram phone and it doesnt close my app everytime i minimize

In fact, this is the first phone I've used which I didn't root In the first 1 week, I rooted my hot and hot 2 the first day I bought them.

I've been using this for two months now, no root, and there's nothing spectacular about it. So, yes, I'm going to root it
