Chai! This guy can argue...as if there are no Nigerians here slipping burgers at McDonald’s and working at Walmart for $10 per hour and they are still going to school all together. Loan or no loan. The fact still remains that they school and work pari passu. School daytime, work evening time. Unless you have enough financial support. That’s how some do it. Is this something new? No.

Yeah they work and school, very stressful

And for those Nigerians that are only schooling,Most time the financial support comes from Nigeria

Someone scammed by the so called yankee boys on Nairaland 9 million naira

After those idiot will say yankee boys dey make money

Just like every visitor and prospective vehicle buyer, who seeks to find a trustworthy and deligient dealer who, knows his onions in the business of not only buying vehicles for clients, also, will be able to give one or two advice to guide the client to making a good choice. I came across Mr Kunle Ayanjoke in 2012 who,is the personality behind USAutobuy
After series of correspondence,we decided to meet one on one in Mr Biggs at Ojodu berger. I actually live 345km outside Lagos State,we met and was impressed with his knowledge about vehicles and thus, struck our first deal after concluding on the total figure and modality of the transaction.
I returned back home and made good my end of the deal which was the transfer of the monetary aspect for my first vehicle while i awaited his own part in line with our agreed T & C.
He kept his own part of the arrangement and this again, lead to a total of 4 cars and some vehicle parts within 18months. Usually,i will transfer funds to his local account for a vehicle and after further discussion and jis input, there is sometimes a change of vehicle choice and change in initial cost. So,i sometimes have balance to either pay or receive.
The present issue.leading to this thread, started around the last quarter of 2015 when i was to get three vehicles with a total of 12m(a 2010 BMW 750LI from COPAT, and a 2008 GX470). Pls,note that he knows his onions in getting the required vehicle with the price of the client with good carfax history.
I made a total transfer of 9million Naira in two installment of 5m and 4m
from the 12m(this was acknowledged). The BMW,according to him,we won at a total $17,345 and according to him,he made payment of $17k and the car was to be transported to Cali from Florida. To my utmost surprise, the same car,was relisted for auction again and when i got tru to him,he said he gave a trusted friend a cheque of $17k and did no follow up. All efforts to have him tell me what actually happened to my funds, and have him refund me,went into the air. All he said was that i should “Just pray for him”. I have tried to search for him in this forum during that priond, but he went underground before last week when i saw he has resurfaced.
I have proof of our chat and emails to verify my claims and i wait for him to counter. If he has the guts to.when i couldnt reach him,i contacted his wife who was willing to assist. I went as far as trying to see the wife in Ibadan and on arrival,i called the wife to fix a meeting point and the next thing i got ,was a call from him saying he has instructed the wife NOT to make the appointment.
from 7/10/2015 when i cancelled the deal and asked for my refund,he hasn't deemed it fit to get across to me as to the modality of refunding.

making money in the business depends on ur supply capacity that's y am letting u know we don't hv a system that works in Nigeria imagine i applied for a govt loan and they disqualified me because my guarantor does not hv a fat and robust account, properties in choice area, how do this govt wants to encourage young entrepreneur? Again no money in circulation people always wants to buy on credit which is bad for business. From ondo to Lagos i pay illegal money's in not less than 15 places to our uniform mens blocking roads at night. Look at ijebu ode ore road, very bad road i hv been attacked by robbers on that road twice, I hv spent 16hrs from ore to Lagos before, a journey of less than 4hrs..Let's call a spade a spade

Sorry dear, American visa is nothing. Maybe 20 yrs ago but not in 2017. When someone points this truth counter the topic and not the individual. Can you compare someone doing menial job or even a Registered Nurse in America to a bank manager in Nigeria. Come on let's be frank and honest.

I see your braveness. If you ever get an approved American visa, you should please tear it.. Now,
My brother, cousins and i are making it quite well in corporate America and not a single one of us will contemplate spending one night in Nigeria if it can be helped. No system is perfect, but you cannot convince me that Nigeria holds any value to anyone who appreciates real living (as against merely existing).

You comparing an American menial worker and a Nigerian bank manager is bullshit. Why don't you do it this way;
* An American menial worker versus a Nigerian menial worker.
* A Doctor or Nurse in America with those in Nigeria.
* An American taxi driver to that of a Nigerian grin list so endless.
We pay tax, oh yes and we fucking love it. For about a decade, light went off like once, and that was during a hurricane in my city before which I already got an e-mail informing me on that. I have peace, security, justice, know i can drive at night, alone, on impulse, and have zero fear of armed robbers or area boys or bad roads. I go back to my abode, knowing i won't have to struggle to find kerosine to cook, that i won't need candles as my source of light, that i will turn on the tap and water will flow and that my biggest problem would be what to cook rather than if i will get to eat or not. Oh please fvck it, you can't compare tongue

The average 18-year old American kid can take a backpack, pick a ticket to anywhere in Europe and fly out... with nothing but a few dollars in their pocket. In Nigeria, successful middle class adults have to provide tax forms, letters from employer, return tickets home, bank account information, invitation letters, cram visa interview questions and answer + 7 day fasting and prayer, just to spend a few days in South Africa of all places. My brother... America isn't perfect, but i'm sure glad i live here and not in Lagos.

I understand your position but I think you are not looking at it wholly. Let me use Netherlands for instance someone doing a menial job and earning 1800 Euros per month life's value is even better than that of a bank manager in Nigeria. Yes, the residual income of the bank manager is higher likewise his physical assets.

But what the guy in Netherlands takes for granted; security, social welfare, access to affordable and world class health facility, ability to send his children to the best school in the country without sweating about it is a luxury to the bank manager.

Yes, money wise the bank manager has more residual income but the life of the guy in Netherlands has more value than that of the bank manager so the question is how do you measure quality of life based on money in your bank account or free and easy access to the things that makes your life comfortable? The choice is yours and it is different for everyone.

thank you jare

From your attitude I wonder what you are looking for here, remember it's mostly Nigerians on this forum and if our country is so dispicable that you can't spend a day in it if it can be helped then we also should be despicable to you because we live here so explain why you spend your valuable time arguing with despicable people?

27 people were killed over the weekend with many injured, that's the American life, a life where someone can blow off your head in the twinkle of an eye. Is that the false peace you are trying to make us feel exist? Your president suggested that mental sickness is the reason why these sort of killings occur, so in truth you live in a place where mentally deranged people own guns and you think you are safer than us? grin

Be careful because the next hurricane might destroy your house and everything you claim to own

In Nigeria successful middle class people that can prove they have ties to the country will be given visas to any country in the world, the last time I checked no country restricts Nigerians with valid visas from entering and if the average Nigerian was not brain washed by you guys that paint false pics of eldorado abroad they wouldn't sell their birthrights by going to live as illegal migrants abroad. When this happens they will be granted entry to various countries without need of visas.

As for using kerosene stoves, when last did you hear of scarcity of the commodity? Betwen many city dwellers use gas. Candles? Smh

Now you can continue Argueing with your village people tongue

hahahahaha I am just laughing out loud here guy u Don finished dis ppl

They are not few, stop deceiving yourself. They are everywhere on every street including places you tag as slums. You think the pocket change Nigerians living in America send back home are legit money? The most dubious and criminally minded Nigerians reside in America

If them give this hungry man $100,000 the first thing he is going to buy is a ticket back to Nigeria. Wonder why some Nigerians who have attained some level of success always have dreams and plan to relocate back and invest because they know the America dream is elusive and the greatest lie ever told. Only the broke ass like this one here keeps shouting Nigeria is dead. Nor be me say make you go America go turn original suffer head

As much as I hate replying a low level like you, obviously you got no class to start with.
Isn't it funny how you just hate on someone you haven't even met before. See how stupid you sound?

I can swear that my 18yr old sis is richer than your wretched father if at all you have and possibly all of y'all family life's savings up to your great grand wretched dead parents..
I never said I'm the first to travel abroad, neither will I be the last. The joke is on you right now, I'm presently having the time of my life in the United States of America!  you on the other hand are hating from the confines of the shackles of your mental slavery which you'll soon be dead with. I can feed and train upto 4 of your family members till their death..
The beauty of this thread is: I'm enjoying myself in the UNITED STATES OF FVCKING AMERICA; I will post what I like, and there's nothing you can do about that. I exit this thread for wretches like you who can't afford travelling to Togo..
