Conceal placards underneath clothes after caucus meeting

ABUJA-APPARENTLY disatistisfied with the level of budget implementation for 2016 and 2017 fiscal years, members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the House on Tuesday vowed to stage a protest as President Muhammadu presents Budget 2018.

The PDP members after leaving the executive session on the floor of the House gathered at Hearing room two where they held a caucus meeting on how to stage the protest.

Some of the placards sighted by Vanguard read”change the change”, ‘implement 2016 and 2017 budget or resign’ and some other unprintable graffiti’.

The PDP lawmakers left the venue of the meeting immediately at about 1 30pm and were seen concealing placards underneath their clothes.

They refused to talk to the press but a lawmaker among them quickly pointed out that “our Acting Leader Oyeama Chukwuma did not storm out rather we sent him to join the leadership team.

PDP have now finally woken up.
PDP online supporters, Gov Fayose, FFK and Ben Bruce were the people that kept the PDP flag flying.

They are completely not serious. They are trying to sabotage the effort of the federal government to paint it black in the eyes of the masses. If at all they are not satisfy, is there no other means to check mate the executive. Budget implementation does not mean 100 percent but spend according to availability of fund and use judiciously. At least we can what this govt is spending money on it like agriculture, roads, power, creation of jobs eg N-power and school feeding just to mention a few. The PDP lawmakers should please tell us how they implemented during their own tenure and show us the cash available then in term of total revenue to total expenditure. All what they are fighting for is not because of you and me but failure of federal govt to give them all what they are asking for from the budget. Set of crook that doesn't want a better Nigeria. Just for them and their family to be living large. God will punish them all.

There should be a nation wide protest against such show of madness. They are not interested in implementation, all they are after is the availability of money to steal cos if they were, the honorable thing to do would be to run the budget they just passed into law a while ago within a twelve month period first but as we know, honour is but a word to most politicians. Even 5% of the previous budget has not been put on ground and they wanna present another one, we are damned in this country.
