Yoruba Governors are taking loans and carrying debts to feed and accomodate Ibos with no means of survival, but back in SE their Governors are wasting money on statutes.

Send omo Ibo back to his governor in village.

The Governors aren't as irrational as you are. Unlike you, they only take calculated steps.

Well indirectly he is trying to say that the SW governors should invest money accrued or loaned on Yoruba indigents especially Yoruba mothers carrying heavy bowl with pure water as you mentioned, while destitute Igbos should be returned home where they should demand that their governors invest in their well-being.............Do you get?

Sooner or later, Almajiris will join them.

Isaa allah, 20 years from now if Nigeria does not disintegrate it never will. The SS/SE will realize it's too late as oil reserve would have been depleted or useless. One piece of real estate that may still retain serious value will be Lagos state. Then will you realize rather too late that we all own Lagos State and Yoruba can't steal our collective hegemony in Lagos State - the Ports! SS/SE will collabo with the north to frustrate (or change) any such measure already in place.

The only solution will be to reclassify Lagos State as "Home for All" and exclude it from S/W region if and when regionalism approaches reality. For now keep frosting and running your mouth.

How many destitute igbos are in yorubaland? Begging is not part of us. If you tell me about husslers who are hawking on the streets i will agree. But talk about beggars, you are lying as if there are many of them there.
Pls if you see any Igbo beggar in the streets of Yoruba land kindly help us to bad mouth the person in a way that he will be so ashamed of himself and find something better to do. That's what some of us do to them if we see them. Don't sit there and be lying about how your governors are feeding them. Play your own part or u shut up.

Na true sha.

Aregbesola is building schools and roads, Ibo governors are building statues.

Yoruba states need double allocations to feed the Ibo destitute in their states.

We've built two IDP camps in Abia and Ebonyi to feed the Igbos that can't run away.

Lies.

Most of us even don’t have voters cards in Igbo land and only acquire one when we decide to come home and contest for one office or another.
To worsen our security challenges, as we are coming we bring thugs and other miscreants to Igbo land to protect us and campaign for us without minding the influence of these imported thugs on the local youths.

We also advertise wealth so negatively that our youths feel that all they need to succeed is to travel to Lagos or Abuja. More often that not, these youths end up under Lagos/Abuja bridges where they acquire all sorts of criminal indoctrination. When they have fully graduated they return to the east and practice their evil skills.

From Abia state government.

Are these the miscreants claiming to develop Lagos? grin grin

Igbos feel they need to travel to Yorubaland to survive and make money.

1. My brothers and sisters, permit me to share a story with you. Recently I attended a ceremony of an illustrious Igbo leader, somewhere outside Ala-Igbo, while at the event, a brother walked up to where I was and said to me: Governor, our people (Ndigbo) are trapped outside our lands something must be done to get them back home. Our elders have refused to go home, even after retirement. Our towns and cities are deserted. Our people are now organizing traditional marriages of their children outside our land. Something has to be done.

When these governors want to reach out, they reach for the wrong people who are craving to come home due to their dwindling fortunes in overseas. Curbing kidnapping will start with provision of future for these youngsters. Hardly kidnapping takes place in Nigeria nowadays without the involvement of the Igbos.[

Unfortunately we have no role models in Igbo land. The politicians are some of the sources of evil, because some of them buy guns and equip these lost souls, to fight their opponents and after elections, it becomes difficult to get these lethal instruments from these idiots who agreed to be used. We need a national orientation and there is no zone that is critically in need of it than the South East. People go as far as kidnapping a reverend father, killing in the church of God and ceasing people on their way to churches. Again, job opportunities, value orientation, moderations from our politicians and tight security will stop this atrocity called kidnapping. When I was growing up, my parents kept track of my associations with the outside world. Igbo communities should do away with praising and worshipping wealth without scrutinizing the sources of the wealth. Our life styles stink.
