It was learnt that Asa, which is also known as Agere in other parts of Yorubaland, is a traditional festival of man walking on long stilts to entertain the public.

At an elaborate ceremony attended by many traditional rulers and community leaders in Ikorodu and its environs, the revival of Asa also featured the launch of “Asa Arokolo”, a book on the festival published by the Ikorodu Division Rebirth Foundation.

No road, no light? Which jungle are you living in exactly? You need to relocate asap to live among civilised people.

Ambode is instilling Yoruba consciousness in Lagos.

The recent resurgence of Pan-Yorubanism (especially in Lagos) is a product of Igbo aggression, insults and abuse of privileges by that group of people. Our house of assembly now speaks Yoruba on its floor, we have made it compulsory for all pupils to study Yoruba language in Lagos schools. More pan-Yoruba moves to come. You're welcome to relocate to your mud region if you don't like them.

Ambode and his commissioners should reach out to other areas in lagos like Ayobo, Bada, Abule Odu, Ishefun... The roads are so bad in those areas. He can put up a statue after that grin

Pan-Yorubanism is a product of Igbo aggression and insults.
Pan-Yorubanism has exited before Igbos thought of migrating to Lagos. Egbé Ọmọ Odùduwà was formed before independence. Due to economy issue we didn't care about preservation of our cultural heritage. We were trying to survive the tide.
