NOUN Clarifies Post Graduate Students Graduation Policy

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has made clarifications on its post-graduate courses following media reports on the inability of some students to graduate.

NOUN’s Director of Media and Publicity, Ibrahim Sheme, in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja, said that institution would not be swayed by such malicious stories.

He said also that NOUN’s Management would not be arm-twisted into issuing questionable degrees that were contrary to the institution’s vision and mission statements. READ MORE

Good evening friends, checking through my registrable courses for this new semester, I saw in front of most of them CORE while nothing was written in front of about two.


My question is, are those ones that aren't core elective? If yes, can I leave them out, and if I don't register them, what are the implications?

3 Collect your payment receipt and teller
4 Submit your siwes form, receipt and your teller to your centre counsellor for your log book

Yours is better. I saw mine on Nov 5 only for me to discover that my CGPA has reduced today. Thank God that i have a copy of the first one. My Grades or scores didnt change. Just the CGPA.
