With your profile (Marital status, Age, Level of degree-BA, 3 years work experience and CLB 9), your score should be 429 and not 441.

You are correct.

Hello everyone,

I have requested for WES evaluation of my first degree and Master degree but it seems the first degree evaluation is taking too long. Is it possible to discontinue the evaluation of the first degree and make do with the masters degree alone?

Seconly, how long does it take DHL to deliver documents to Canada?

Your responses would be appreciated.

Yes it's possible, I just did that. I wrote to WES via email and fax to evaluate only my MSc on Friday. My ECA will be ready on the 24th of this month.

While there is no NOC that fits your job roles explicitly under the 2011 classification (I haven't seen though), I believe you may want to look at 2282.
When choosing my NOC, I was skeptical about so many I saw, but on a closer look at a particular one, I saw that they were about 80% of what I actually did but because the CIC guys said that the role usually resided in IT units, I wasn't sure. But alas, that function actually resides with Risk Mgt in my bank and not IT although we depend on them a lot for our work. I was then able to fashion our what exactly my roles was and aligned it with what our HR had in their records. My exact job title is listed in the titles under that NOC sef but confusion hold me.

So what I mean is, looking at your Sep 2013 -2016 experience which meets 3 years timeline, it fits what a support person would do. From my knowledge of IT processes, I know that E-banking processes sit on one side with IT and the other with e-banking group, so take a closer look at the job duties listed under 2282 and see if they in any way match what you do. The words may not be exact, but the meaning and overall concept may match. If you can get you HR to word it that way, good for u. The job title does not matter, take note of that.

I hope I haven't compounded your problem. NOC is a bastard for a lot of us, especially some of us in specific units in the banking industry.

You can seek the opinion of everyone else. I am in no way a specialist in this matter. I had similar issues with choosing my NOC in the beginning.

Jesus! Not a good thing to do. You risk misrepresentation and a nice, rounded 5-year ban.
You should be able to get her over with family sponsorship much later. That's what you should focus on.

It's perfectly normal, though not everyone will see such before their PPR status hence you can safely assume to see PPR next.

New to this forum. I just completed my undergraduate degree. Will begin my NYSC in 2018 and plan to use that as my 1 year work experience when I start my Express Entry journey in 2019. Someone previously said she successfully used it. However since NYSC is not a full one year, How do I go around that? Because i have no other work experience that wasn’t attained while I was a full time student
