I just found out today that our file has been moved to the dreaded London office. AOR 2nd September.
#sigh
The Lord will make our journey smooth.

Don't worry. We will get there.

I disagree. They wouldn't use rejection/refusal to reduce numbers. They could simply just increase the CRS score by limiting number of ITA.

I'm considering the fact that over 77000 ITAs have issued already. That's more than 100% increase from 2016 and 2015.

I guess MRSDA and db23 somehow missed these questions.

UK visa refusal in 2007, we have since gone to the UK several times. Hubby has a lot of travel history there.

I don't think this follows as some people did not have any refusal and ended up in London.

Everything about Lautech transcript verification is done online, including payment for courier service

On Nov 1, my status changed from application in progress (ip1) to we are processing your background check(ip2). Then yesterday it changed to Not applicable. What does this mean.

Its kind of weird to me because people normally go from ip2 to ppr and I have no idea why mine didn't go that route. Was expecting to get PPR today but its already end of the day and nothing showed up. Any thoughts?

There was already a plan to issue this many ITAs in 2017

Don't take everything you read here at face value. There is no hard rule about the changes going as you have said. It does vary with many people.

I guess exploring PNP and getting a job only option now.
Just wondering if any of our seniors in the house that took the PNP route can start a thread on PNP for us that might want to consider that route.
Congrats to the latest PPRs.

It simply means you are on NA3. Not so many people get to see this stage as they usually don't check their profile between IP2 and PPR. You should expect your PPR in a matter of days.

I had a post about this on page 365 but it was hidden by the antispam bot.

You would need to print and fill that form for your PCC

Thanks buddy,

Do we have to download and print the Police Fingerprint form from CIC website or we will be given the hardcopy of the form to fill at Alagbon?

Thanks in advance.

No, go to your profile, check the top and see "Modify Family Information". It will take you back to a form that looks like what you started with when registering smiley

elfmann:
Withdraw it if it is an eligible profile and create another.

Hello everyone,

I have been a silent reader here. Please I need an answer to my inquiry. Thank you.
I submitted my express entry profile earlier this year with a score of 404(unmarried, 32yrs, MBBS, ielts-LRSW 7.5 8.5 7.5 7.5). I recently got married(only registry) and improved my LRSW to 9 8 7.5 7.
CRS now 436(no spouse factors hence this low) However, I tried to edit my personal details in EE profile to married but not working. I tried to contact CIC via the website using the provided form, no headway.
What do I do? Do I ditch the profile and submit a new one?
Please advice needed.

Fellow Londoner

I think I was dozing off b4... don't mind my robotic response.

Your date is close to mine... at the rate they seem to be going recently, we might be getting ours by December/January... I pray even before then, by God's Grace.

Fingers crossed, i wish us speedy ones. What date are you? Yes from the look of things, we might get in December.

Hi Elders

I need your advice on NOC.
- Can I choose NOC 1(IT Related) experience as my overall NOC, considering it was almost 8yrs ago?
- Does the period the experience was gathered a factor? Is most recent experience considered more?
- My experience spans about 3 NOCs. I left out others because they would did not contribute to CRS.

Please see case study below:

Work Experience:
NOC 1 (IT Related JOB)
Nov.2006 - Mar.2009
approx. 2.5yrs experience

NOC 2 (Coporate Sales JOB)- Most Recent
Sept.2015 - Aug.2017
approx. 2yrs experience

Thanks

Hello everyone,
At what stage can i send the email to know the visa office treating my application.
Aor Oct 25
Currently on Na2 for since last friday.
Should i give them more time or just send a mail.
I dont know if its too early to send a mail.
Im curious Cos of all these lvo debate. My spouse has a refusal from UK although he was later granted a visa the month after. He has lived in Uk for 4 years.

You need to just relax and hope for the best and speedy ppr.... Your case is still too fresh to worry about.. Keep yourself busy... Have been on na2 since july 24th...do the math... Your case could be different and your ppr could be soon.. Buh dont bother them yet... It would all fall into place by Gods grace

Anyone know how long it normally takes to get a PCC from the USA if you’re requesting for it from Nigeria?

Approximately how long does it take for the whole ECA thing to be complete through WES?

Only the application is online and I've gone beyond that stage. There is no separate application for verification, however you will need someone to follow up for them to reply the verification mail.
