Please house I need advice I intend to travel with hubby and two kids. Both hubby and I wrote ielts CRs score is 422 cos I had 6.5 in writing. I have registered for ielts again and hope to do well in writing. ECA in progress. now the main issue I am the principal applicant and have 15% of the funds in my account and hubby has the remaining 85% in his account. Majority of the money in Hubby's account has only been there for 6 weeks as payment for some contract he did. Now my question is what's the best way to go about pof, should hubby gift it to me or should he buy treasury bill in both our name and if buying tbills what tenure is advisable that I can use keeping in mind I am writing next ielts and hope to do better to get good crs and enter the pool before end of the year. You don't need BL. for ECA purposes, LLB gives you the maximum scores obtainable besides obtaining transcripts from NLS is a longer process. Just apply for your LLB transcripts and certificate and mail to IQAS. It will be evaluated as equivalent to a masters degree.

Never ever send your original documents to anyone. All you need is a copy of your LL.B. Have you registered and pay for the assessment?
If no, click here to register https://iqas.work.alberta.ca/eca and pay for the assessment fee after which an application ID will be generated and sent to your email along with a transcript request form. You will need to fill this form and send it to your school to include it in your transcript envelope. You on the other hand will mail the other documents to iqas directly or you can arrange with the transcript officer to assist in including it with your transcript before mailing to iqas. (for this process, note that the supporting documents will be in an envelope while the transcript will also be in a separate envelope. The two envelopes will be in a larger envelope) This only helps in reducing courier cost but you need to monitor the process well to ensure they adhere to the process for sending it.

Oboy this US PCC na wa o.. 12 - 16 weeks ... Permit me to ask what date will be on the US PCC. I doubt if one can apply if one is currently in the US but coming back to Nigeria in few months.... In essence if the US FBI PCC is dated 20th November 2017 and you are still in the country at that time but left 25th November 2017... I understand it willl be rejected by CIC. ..Please if you ever gotten US FBI PCC if kindly shed light on the date featured on your US FBI PCC... so an informed decision can be made.

My fingerprints got to FBI June 7 and I received the report September 16, over 14 weeks after. However, the date on it was September 8. The date on your report must be after the last time you were in the country.

Sent Certificate same day.
Certificate got accepted three days after.
Transcript request like 3 days after WES profile date.
Transcript from Unilag got delivered to WES about 5th week from request.
Verification sent to school about the 3rd day after receipt of transcript
Verification received about the 2nd week after update of awaiting verification from institution
ECA completed exactly 15 working days after receipt of Verification.

Just yesterday my contact from Fedpoly called that the school has received the verification mail after 2 solid months.
My people kindly advise me ooo.
I want to discard the verification from Fedpoly and ask WES to remove poly completely and generate my report. Hope its a good decision.

kindly advise on the best course of action.... i already created my express entry profile using my 2years experience after my Msc (2013-2015) however after seeing yesterday's saga i'm thinking of including my nysc work experience(2010-2011) so as to improve my scores, its the same Noc and also with the same company where i had my post msc work experience.

my questions are:
1. can i include my nysc experience now despite the two year gap (the two year gap is the reason why i never included it in cic forms)
2. how do i go about it? kindly note that wasn't my ppa but i was able to work there for a whole year (dec 2010 to dec 2011)

When i went to do the biometrics and I informed them that I was my own processing officer, I was directed to an officer that guided me on the tables to take my file to before biometrics and then afterwards I went for biometrics which took like 3 hours waiting time to do. Tipped the officer with 2k and he called me 5 days after that the passport was ready.
