Iwobi and Etebo need to switch positions
to be honest with you my brother.

rohr is a good man manager but a tactical coach I disagree....the man has a lot to learn especially with this team formation..

even nacho in the AM role would have even been better than having etebo there....

Dont exagerate even if it rained a lot this days in constantine city and even if its not the 5 july national stadium of Algiers or Tchaker stadium of Blida , the pitch still better then the yellow pitch first match in nigeria

Ndidi has been a tackling machine, would love to see his stats after the game.

Leon has been bellow par in this 1st half. May be his mask, may be the pitch or he might be rusty from lack of club action.

And Kayode for Nwakaeme
Mikel should come in for Ogu

Ekong, Shehu, Aina, Ndidi (defensively)

Players that have disappointed

Nwakaeme, Balogun (Match rusty?)

yes he and Nwakaeme. We need an agile CF.
Humility017:

he is so heavy....at least we now know the reason why some of this players sit on the bench.....

For the second half, Uche Agbo should come off for Mikel and Nwakaeme should come off for Henry Onyekuru (then Kelechi should move to the middle while Henry plays off the flanks). This would balance the team and bring us victory tonight.

It's a dead rubber and both sides are playing like it. And the pitch isn't helping either.

What do you guys think about Mahrez and Slimani's game so far ? Considering they are the biggest stars on the field.

Match rustiness is telling on Balogun's game. I haven't seen him this bad since 2015.
Iwobi once again showing he's not a winger, absolutely nothing from him so far. He'd better play from the middle and let Onyekuru or Kayode run the flank
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon79(m): 9:29pm On Nov 10, 2017
Nwakeme is NOT Eagles material. I expect him to be subbed out for Henry Onyekuru or Ahmed Musa while Iheanacho goes to the middle.

Balogun - the captain's armband is weighing too heavily on him.

Ogu - disappointing so far. I expect him to be subbed out in the second half for Mikel, that would relieve Balogun as well.

you see the reason for nwakali invitation....
I do believe this possibly might have influenced rohr to always play agu instead....

I have never really been a fan of the style of Ogu. His passing is so limited. Always short passes and limited creativity.

Balogun needs to get games before the WC, he is obviously rusty.

Shehu is far far better than Musa Mohammed, Efe Ambrose, Chidi Odiah, Mohammed Yusuf, Emeka Ezeogu, Austin Eguavoen and other ancestors that have played the right-back position for the SE.

Argue with your ancestors!!! grin

I don't think Ogu was that bad, he is tackling a lot, winning balls, now Etebo on the other hand, has fallen my hand to the extent that it is now broken. Our Number 9 playing for Isreal, has just shown us why he is not playing in Europe.

Etebo seems to be orchestrating the midfield this half so far.
