Lol...seriously.
I think I really..need not put all my hope on Nigeria come next year...better still my philosophy as it has always been is to enjoy every game I watch by being neutral to both sides...that I will adopt come Russia 2018.

because I don't see us to far wit this team...without the likes of Moses and mikel...

Worst display by all parties - referee, both teams
Poor refereeing.- red card not given, fake penalty given
No creativity from both sides

You said Algeria was going to win us and you know but for the soft penalty we would have won. So admit that your prediction fell flat

with better finishing we would have lost embarrasingly and you know it, they were EASILY the better team.

Meanwhile I said WE WOULD NOT WIN, I added that we would lose after we saw the list of invitees but due to injuries the team was almost completely changed

Oga, you said we will lose both games... I disagree.. Algeria were not that good.. The chances they had were simply down to poor goalkeeping

Please keep that philosophy, it's exactly what Nigeria needs. No hopes on the team please!!!!!

No hope hope they qualified with a game to spare, no hope no hope, the Eagles may then decide to soar.

I still give the boys credit.

This is a dead rubber game.

Some of our key players absent.

A couple of fringe players started.

Don't judge this team with this game.

I said it before that we may not win this game, not because we are not good enough but because it is a dead rubber game.

the coach simply did not employ the tactics that would suit the available players, quite predictable as well. Bar that goal and that counter from Iwobi I doubt we created any other dangerous situation all 90mins against a weakened Algerian team, dead rubber or not it was poor.

I already knew we wouldn't win, I expected a good performance though

forgiveness:
Why did this coach invite Ebuehi yet refused to cap him? If this boy later become super star and Holland comes knocking, does he think the poor boy will still come here and be warming bench?

I have seen that the coach has decided to drop some players without given them the chance to prove themselves hence the need not to play dem at all during the WC qualifiers.
Ebuehi's time would come, there are many games to play, even cup of nations qualifiers. Ebuehi is young, and definitely for the future.

Worst Ezenwa's performance so far, thankfully he saved it till the last unimportant game..

Overall, It had the feel of an unimportant match.. I expect to see a better, more dedicated performance against Argentina.
please I don't want him in goal against Argentina...he is not the only goal keeper in camp...

others should be tried...moreover they're all in same category none is perfect.

I know the goal Ogu scored changed the game, but without the goal would you give him 7.5?

you want make I dig up where I said we wouldn't win? Bar that penalty there was no assurance that their final header would not have gone in. They were lucky I agree but they deserved their luck and if we had won this game it would have been undeserved

But this is an Algerian team complete with their stars against a Nigerian team without Moses and Mickel, and having a few rookies in the line up.

I agree, Algeria were not even good at all BUT THEY WERE BETTER THAN US. The first chance they created that Slimani would have headed in for his club was a result of our poor team setup not GK. The one that Slimani missed wasn't exactly the Gks fault, I have seen many Gks going for that kind of ball I wouldn't blame him but he was atrocious though

they were missing 3 defenders plus Benteleb, that is 4 players missing so yes they were weakened very well.

I so much love your inputs Tbaba and I have come to respect you on this forum. On this game, let's put not the excuse on dead rubber game, the truth is you can't give what you don't have, maybe because some players might not have deployed in their best positions, it was a poor performance period.

Argentina game is also a dead rubber game, it's just a friendly, are we going to play poorly like that?

Truth is the team has come to rely too much on the ability of a few players who carry the team each time they play, Mikel, Victor Mosis and the unappreciated Onazi. If Mikel get's injured in the world cup, we might be in trouble.

It seems the coach doesn't know the best roles for his players and he is very conservative.

I wonder what he does at training and yet he can't indentify poor player.

They were not weakened anywhere. They played their best team.

We actually presented a more weakened side than Algeria. Meanwhile, I would like to see Uzoho play 90 mins against Argentina. We definitely don't have a goalkeeper in this team right now.
