Dear
I wasn't too impressed....considering the way super eagles have been playing lately...this match fall below standard...chances created today were not up to 3....
the super eagles I know create more chances than that...this Algeria team was very weak......

I expect us to have played better....I understand that penalty was a fluke...but we should always expect things of this kind in away matches....

#well I am satisfied now....
#winks

how are you doing? hope your day went well...
Have you forgotten that this team is nowhere near our starting eleven?

I hope you guys remember I said about Ogu and his abilities. He still displayed them today and even scored a goal with one of his abilities which is being a threat to opposition goalkeepers with long range shots.

Isnt he far better than Agu?

Ezenwa has no business being our second choice goalkeeper not to talk of first choice.
Seems Nwakaeme isn'tbso good as a point man but a winger. Though the Argentina game is another test.

Ogu shown both his strengths and weaknesses today.

Of course. Goals determine the outcome of games. So goals, assists will definitely add to a players ratings.
Besides the goal, he raised his game in the second half.
Icon79:
Ogu 7.5? Are you kidding me?? Is it because of his goal?

Kog45, you now understand why I chose to wait for the Algeria and Argentina game so as to identify players to weed from the team?

I have identified one: Anthony Nwakaeme (aka jam body player).

we have played two games without Mikel and in both games we deserved to lose, easy to see why people are complaining

Very frustrating. I am suspecting he doesn't know some players position and strength.

I expected Iwobi in the Am and Iheanacho in the CF but the dude played them wrongly.

Etobor is not a CM or AM. Na by force? The LW is his best position. Make WC reach.
That CM position with his eye-catching performances is what earned him a place in SE.

I was disappointed with Ezenwa, Nwakaeme, Iwobi & Iheanacho.

However, I was impressed with the 4 man back line is Aina, Shehu, Balogun & Ekong did well.

Rohr must work on wing play

if you were in his shoes how will you feel...ola who came yesterday is already playing full 90 mins...
why do you think the English coach is capping Abraham and co....

you need give this guys sense of belonging...
keep inviting him every time to make up the numbers.....

show them that you believe in them...
give him few minutes under his belt...it is good for his confidence......
a very inconsequential match like this would have been better if he was allowed to play few minutes....

after all he is not doing badly for his club....

Godwin Okpara in court again in Lagos for wife battery.

Remember, he was convicted for raping a 13 year old girl under his care. Jailed for 10 years, got out in 3 yearsfor good behavior. He was deported to Nigeria. His wife also went to jail for torturing the same girl.

What a terrible shame!!

You know how it is once that person is under 16 it maybe U14 for France it's statutory rape. The circumstances are completely irrelevant it is considered that the child is not able to give consent.

However, the reality if that( House) girl is Nigerian it's almost certain practice that they would reduce her age to bring her in as a dependent child. So she could even be 21 in reality. I am talking from observation and practice in Europe.

You probably remember Adam Johnson Sunderland player jailed for 6 years. For sexual activity with a girl of 15+. He didn't even do the deed.

would u still prefers a local coach even if he fails to qualify us? and which coach would u recommend us that is not corrupt and a suspect?
and finally, name a coach that u want us to hire that will be ready to work and performs to ur bidding?
pls if u are unable to answer me,i don't think u have the right to complain about Rohr anymore

Honestly the coach starting line up was surprising, iheanacho playing as a winger, the man was truly confused, i saw no problem in d middle,

ndidi was doing the tackling well,

etebo was all over the place but was going front too much, guess he was suppose to do onazi work, ogu was supposed to be d AM but wasnt seen upfront.

ndidi was the CM and did very well.

we now know that ezenwa has a bigger issue, even d new keeper may not be good as we r thinking.

shehu is a great rightback he doesnt need much help from d winger to do his work.

nice game today.

Algeria are very good at creating chances, but very weak in converting. That has been their undoing especially considering they are not good defensively. Throughout the qualifiers they have not been able to capitalize on their strengths to make up for their weaknesses at the rear.

I think this match was kind of a waste. It would have offered us a good opportunity to really access the players, but for the poor pitch.

One word for John Ogu's performance today. Phenomenal. I was blown away. Amazing, amazing performance. His interceptions, ball winnings, smooth passes, intelligent decision-making.

Many might rave about the goal but his all round contribution was remarkable.

Iheanacho and Iwobi were played in the wrong positions, so they can be excused.
Ezenwa showed his weakness today. I think the search for goalkeeper continues ....
Nwakaeme is not an Eagles material. I would be surprised if he gets invited back

Leon Balogun has his absolute worst game in the super eagles jersey today. So why were you impressed with him?
I think the face mask impacted his game and probably the captain's armband as well. Some players just don't play very well when given the added burden of the captain's armband - examples: Harry Kane and Neymar.

I won't give excuse for the coach but i guess your player, Nwakaeme was deployed in the right position. Don't say the team didn't get the ball to him. The guy is not SE material.

The pitch was bad hence the need to see him once again in a better pitch. Although, I have a little of what he's got but let us wait and see.

In the second half? yes I agree to an extent -- meaning you are exaggerating.
He had a good second half, not even considering the goals. Phenomenal? NO

I am not talking about the chances they got....for now.

We hardly created two chances, our midfield was jittery all game long, there was no leadership and the team was disjointed, we did not deserve to win. Not all their chances were 'cause of the gk

The match was an analyst nightmare because of how terrible the pitch was. We had a balance mix of players but the pitch made it difficult for the players to string simple passes, let alone long balls.

The forwards and full back had a terrible time running the length of the pitch. On a better pitch, this team would have performed far better.
