if you were in his shoes how will you feel...ola who came yesterday is already playing full 90 mins...
why do you think the English coach is capping Abraham and co....

you need give this guys sense of belonging...
keep inviting him every time to make up the numbers.....

show them that you believe in them...
give him few minutes under his belt...it is good for his confidence......
a very inconsequential match like this would have been better if he was allowed to play few minutes....

after all he is not doing badly for his club....

Bros it is not by who fes come.

Rohr simply does not have confidence in that Ehuehi guy. Is it not so obvious? BTW you don't throw too many newbies into the defense at once. Starting Aina is one risk for the CBs and DM to cope with. So bringing in Ebuehi too is not ideal.

I am not talking about the chances they got....for now.

We hardly created two chances, our midfield was jittery all game long, there was no leadership and the team was disjointed, we did not deserve to win. Not all their chances were 'cause of the gk

Their biggest chances were from GK errors.. It is not as if they created much chances and the penalty was a gift.

In the second half? yes I agree to an extent -- meaning you are exaggerating.
He had a good second half, not even considering the goals. Phenomenal? NO

Phenomenal. That one is not even a debate. From the first to second half, Ogu was the most consistent player behind Brahimi. From the start of the game, he stood out and he is clearly the best defensive midfielder I have seen in years play for the Super Eagles when it concerns all round play.

no offence bro, but you are talking arrant nonsense.

An Algerian football journalist just admitted that thy got lucky on two counts:

Brahimi should have seen RED for that head-butt. Algeria ought to be one man down by the end of the game

The penalty was DUBIOUS

An Algerian admitted that and you are here yarning dust.

We had higher possession in both halves.

Oga, go and sleep abeg. You just wan talk

i did not deny that at all.
When I saw the list of invited players we had Ighalo and Moses who would have definetly started plus Onazi so I changed from not winning to losing
When you saw that Ighalo, Moses, Onazi were invited you changed from we were not going to win to we were going to lose

it wasn't a prediction at all, just analysis based on the players present, the players were changed so the analysis disappeared
When Ighalo, Moses and Onazi were injured your analysis disappeared(your analysis that we were going to lose because they were in the team disappeared) and became neutral abi as in there was no analysis as to the outcome of the game on your part. Is that what you are saying?

Ebuehi's time would come, there are many games to play, even cup of nations qualifiers. Ebuehi is young, and definitely for the future.

It is very humiliating to be ignored continuously. If he can't play him today against Algeria na against Argentina he wan play am?

with better finishing we would have lost embarrasingly and you know it, they were EASILY the better team.

Meanwhile I said WE WOULD NOT WIN, I added that we would lose after we saw the list of invitees but due to injuries the team was almost completely changed

Am sure you will do better than Rohr. When some of you criticise, you do it so blindly that it looks like you have a personal score to settle with the coach. Give this man some credit. This is the first time in a long while that we qualified without calculator and here with a game to spare, Algeria needed a dubious referee assisted penalty to draw at their own backyard against our second team. What were you expecting?, that we go there and whitewash them?... Na we buy boot for dem?

Some of you guys here with negative words, criticism, and "never see good in Rohr" are a suspect. I believe that besides our team's success, you guys might have an ulterior motives.

I mean how else do one explain the name calling and demeaning remarks on this match and on our players.?.. In the viewing center where I just watched this game, applause and praises were all the players received only to come online to read this rubbish!

I am beginning to think that many of you are kids who knows nothing about our history in football or better still you guys are all foreign based Nigerians who are just beginning to show interest in our football.

That should be the only reason why you guys throw new players at the coaching crew upandan and making weird statements calling it tactics.

From time immemorial, apart from westerhof. Rohr is the only foreigner doing something great about the Super Eagles, heck it took almighty westerhof 4 years to do what Rohr is doing for us under a year. And the best you lots can do is to criticise, insult and demean his ability, capability and achievements so far.

I don't blame you, you all probably won't be saying this had we been stucked at the bottom of this group, to which the worst you would have done is to sack him.

Armchair coach is what I call you all, and not until you guys take up a coaching job, it remains so.

Honestly it is nauseating reading many negative comments here. Just imagine you wishing us to lose, you have been saying it since last month. And since we didn't lose today, instead of running home with your tail in between your legs, you are making a lame attempt at being a contempt.

If you can't support this team positively, abeg maintain your Lane.

SMH!

Even the main team, with Moses, Mikel etal, is still a "work in progress", talk more of a "fringe team"... Of young inexperience players..

Make Una go siddown jor.. Cos you guys are sounding like you want the team to fail, so you guys can "look smart"..

Once again, make Una take several sits jor.. Awon acclaimed geniuses in football analysis werey..

the Nwakali I know would have offered more than Ndidi and Ogu combined. I love Ndidi but this wasn't his best match. This was a dead rubber match anyways, let's not judge Rohr yet

Then Rohr must prove us wrong by starting him against Argentina.

Algeria's first team needed a useless penalty to draw a bunch of fringe players, some of whom were untested totally and you are crying as if we lost to Algeria after playing all of our main guys.

You people will never be satisfied. God forbid!

They sha kept our unbeaten record despite the wuru-wuru officiating. I'm good with that

From the first whistle till now. I was reading comments. His stood out.

true. In a better pitch, we would would have been able to assess them better.

TheGoodJoe:
The match was an analyst nightmare because of how terrible the pitch was. We had a balance mix of players but the pitch made it difficult for the players to string simple passes, let alone long balls.

The forwards and full back had a terrible time running the length of the pitch. On a better pitch, this team would have performed far better.

Ebuehi can only play as a replacement for first choice Shehu and there's also Omeruo there. We've been having problems at the left back and Aina seems to be the only replacement for now until Maybe Brian ldowu shows up as well.

Nigerians are never satisfied, thank God we have qualified o, if not rohr would have been beheaded by now, we have started again with our nonsense complaining, I remembered how we complained badly against philip troussier and brought in Bora yet we disgraced ourselves in france 98.

Rohr deserve all the praises for daring to coach the Eagles where other top coaches avoided us because they felt we couldn't qualify from this difficult group

Iheanacho and Iwobi were played in the wrong positions, so they can be excused.
Ezenwa showed his weakness today. I think the search for goalkeeper continues ....
Nwakaeme is not an Eagles material. I would be surprised if he gets invited back

Leon Balogun has his absolute worst game in the super eagles jersey today. So why were you impressed with him?
I think the face mask impacted his game and probably the captain's armband as well. Some players just don't play very well when given the added burden of the captain's armband - examples: Harry Kane and Neymar.

O pari

I know Ekong covered up for Balogun no thanks to his injury. But I think the back 4 complemented for each other well. They all covered up for themselves. Check out the classy play if Aina & Shehu. I think 2 and 3 have been covered. And if Brian Idowu joins up with the eagles in Russia, then Echiejile may face stiff competition.

Ezenwa is -1. His shakara was too much. Yet he was caught many times in no man's land.

Rohr has not studied our boys well. Poor technical input tonight

Thank you, could not have said it better.

I really do not understand the criticisms for a team that have only lost one game in a couple of years and cruised through a qualifying group made up of three African champions.

Even Westerhof had to go through an excruciating last game to qualify for USA 94.
