I need your assistance. I am going to Florida in December 5th. The air line ticket is so expensive. But ticket for NY is better while one way flight from NY to Florida is like 26k. Is it possible to go to Florida with connecting flight at NY without breaking any immegaration issue since.

I asked myself same question some months ago. I am now in the same US studying.

Yes you can do that citing expensive ticket to Florida but there's a catch do you know it's very expensive to travel with luggage in U.S? You may end up paying more than $200 for your luggage from Florida to New York so think about it properly.

I filled an address of a friend in Michigan in my DS-160 form and I got the visa.

After few days my friend told me He will be moving to Minneapolis that it will be fine if I book Minneapolis flight.

But Minneapolis was too expensive so we booked Chicago because its closer and cheaper.

He then booked a local flight for me from chicago to Minneapolis. He also gave me his utility bills for old and new address

I have seen in the thread that some people had issue at POE cos of change in address and were sent back.

Please what would you advice me to do?

I'm sure the cooked indomie is for consumption inside the plane and I hope the airline will allow you to bring it in... every other thing declare it.

Touched down around 5pm naija time today at JFK. Turkish airline. Cbp interview was smooth. Just 3 questions. Y u are here, wat do u do, how long are u staying. Then he stamped me in. But 17 hours flight no b joke o. I salute una wey dey travel dat kind journey steady.

About the letter of Consent I will advice you to call the U.S embassy for clarification and also from the little I know I think you will need the children birth certificate, your husband data page, U.S visa page and means of contacting him.
I think Economy Flex option can be easily upgraded to Business class while Semi flex is cheaper and can not be easily upgraded... call the Airline to confirm.

I raised my concern on the 2wks and Pops said I can always rescheduled my return but am a bit concerned of the Poe guys even though I can extend my leave at work.
Hope the date, duration and the payment won't affect me at Poe, and how do I defend it?

Although most time there's always no problem but when they ask you why you extended your stay and you have no valid or good reason to give that is when it will turn to something nasty so find a good reason why you decided to extend your stay and your leave letter should be handy with contact.

I suggest you check the airline rules, via the website of the airline. Of google carry-on baggage allowance of the airline. In principle, 7kg is 7kg (you probably can beg off an extra to make it 8kg). Most will allow you carry a laptop and it's power supply (camera, etc) in addition to the 7kg: that can be in your backpack. But if your backpack is big, I have seen airlines asking pax to remove their laptop and they weighed the backpack/handbag in addition to the carry on.
When my carry-on is slightly over the top, I wear/carry a jacket with deep pockets, in case i need rearrange the contents.
