Dude, take several seats. You should look up the meaning of dissertation & its application across thevworld first & its application in Nigeria first before picking up someone else’s problem as yours.

For first degree, ‘Dissertation’, ‘Project’ & ‘Long Essay’ are used interchangably in Nigeria, this depends on the school. Matter of fact, in UI, at least at the faculty of Arts, we were told to take dissertations off our works but to use ‘MA project in partial fulfilment...’ while in the same Nigeria some other universities use ‘dissertation’ for Masters or Bachelors degree.
