If only Ndidi can improve on his passing. There was an incident in the first half where he led a 3 v 2 counter. He totally wasted the goal bound counter with an erroneous pass straight to a surprised Algerian defender.
If he doesn't improve on his pass accuracy, he will always be stuck playing for a mid table club. No elite team can pardon such wasteful passes.

Ndidi just needs to keep it simple. Makalele was not known for his passing so he did not try spectacular passes, he kept it simple. He gave the ball to the more creative players.

Ndidi just needs to learn to do that sometimes. I see him playing for a big side soon.

somehow:
Please remind me, which Nigerian game was that and what was the outcome?

Iheanacho best in pressing as a lone striker than ighalo? Please remind me again, when you say "pressing", you are referring to pushing back defenders right?

How can Iheanacho be our best forward when it comes to pushing back defenders? This is a joke right? If not, mind telling us which game he played and pressed he defenders into committing series of fouls on him?

In the last game Ighalo played for Nigeria, Mikel Obi had to carry most of the loads to do the pressing. Ighalo could not meet up. When Mikel is pressing for you, you have a problem.

It is not even up for debate. When it comes to pressing, Nacho rules for the Super Eagles.

in a nutshell, it is kept within a circle and under the table. Unlike in Naija, it's a way of life, else you will be left behind or be scorned at.
In the US many business practices are actually corrupt. What we have is "smart" people who can get around the law yet still not break the law. Still corrupt in my opinion from a moral standpoint. For example, are there policemen who take bribe? Yes, but not commonplace. And when it happens it is kept down low.

Modified
Reference to your link. That's some high level corruption if true.. Were the allegations true?

The Moroccans definitely deserve to be at the World cup. I remember telling safarigirl the last time, that the lvoriens were so poor against Mali and it would be difficult for them against the Moroccan side if such dismal performance against Mali was anything to go by.

Have Found Some Good New Players Ahead Of The World Cup – Rohr Reveals

November 11, 201704

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has praised the performance of the fringe players he played yesterday in Constantine when Nigeria were forced to a 1-1 draw by Argentina.

Rohr praised the attitude of the players who were minutes away from clinching a win before a controversial penalty helped Algeria draw level late into the game.

The performance of the players has convinced Rohr about the depth his team possess as they head out to the World Cup in Russia next year.

“Everybody worked well, they lost the ball and the tried to get it back. They did well which means that the building is starting now and some things are changing. We have the same attitude.

“The game showed us that we have players who can play in different positions. We were searching to find new players and we found good new players but we must wait and the return of some injured players.

Two sides I would've loved to see at the world cup, assuming we have more slots are Congo DR and Zambia.

CAF rep Nigeria, Egypt, Senegal, Morocco, Tunisia.

Congo DR almost made it but for the draw against Tunisia at home. They were actually leading 2:0 in that match and could have won but for few minutes of loss of focus.

Unofficially, Nigeria will be in pot 4. I don't see Greece upsetting Crotia after 3:1 first leg deficit and New Zealand upsetting Peru in the playoff.

Without Greece and New Zealand qualifying we'll be in pot 4.

CHAN result and the loss to RSA cause us to miss pot 3. shocked

This ivorian team was too individualistic, Zaha and Gervinho being the worst culprit. Max-Alain Gradel is a baller, I was highly impressed.

BTW komekn did you see achraf hakimi? He plays predominantly as a right back for Madrid but was deployed as a LB for Morocco.

Iheanacho was not a flop in that game and he is not a winger. I wish Rohr can play him just behind say Ighalo. His whip-ins were world class. I dont think VicMo should play set-pieces when Iheanacho is present. I also like the fact that his right foot is being challenged.

Iwobi passing range is equally limited just like Ogu. Iwobi mostly play short passes and he doesnt have the flexibility and fluidity to play the attacking midfield role. And Iwobi is becoming predictable. He need to get to the next level.

Victor Moses: Azpilicueta has helped me become one of Africa's best players

[img]http://images.performgroup.com/di/library/GOAL/44/1e/victor-moses-chelsea-arsenal_1fu0ae91o22bv139vjbfrly41w.png?t=-1505710385&w=620&h=430[/img]

The Chelsea wing-back has hailed his team-mate's influence over his adaptation to a more defensive role after being nominated for individual honours.

It has been a transformative year for Victor Moses and Chelsea.
Antonio Conte's decision to convert the Nigerian into a wing-back early in the 2016-17 campaign was instrumental in both driving the Blues to a Premier League title and also reviving Moses' Stamford Bridge career.

The 26-year-old is currently out with a hamstring strain but that will not stop him remembering 2017 fondly. As well as securing his first English championship, he played a starring role as Nigeria became the first African nation to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

Having already been nominated for the Confederation of African Football's (CAF) Player of the Year award, Moses has now been named one of the top-five players from his continent as voting for the BBC's African Player of the Year prize opens.

It is an honour that has previously been bestowed upon former Chelsea greats Didier Drogba, Michael Essien and John Obi Mikel.

"Yes, it is amazing," Moses toldGoalin an exclusive interview.

"I am pleased with the position I am in today. My manager and team-mates helped me and encouraged me.

"It shows how hard I worked last year but it isn't about being nominated but winning [the award]. Whatever the outcome is, I know that I have had a great year at the club and with the national team as well.

"I was part of the first African team to qualify for the World Cup as well which was good for us. I am pleased to follow in [the former Chelsea players'] footsteps; now I want to take my football to the next level.

"Every season I want to be the best I can to be Africa's best player. I will do the best I can.

"To be honest with you, it is just about hard work. Once you put in the hard work then everything else falls into place.

"I am a player that will always look up to Didier [Drogba]. He is a legend, not just Africa and Chelsea, but the whole world. Didier is a great player.

"He scores goals, assists and he's got everything that you'd ask for in a striker. We as African players are all proud of what Didier achieved as a player. The way he holds himself is unbelievable.

"Mikel and Essien have been nominated too. I am proud that we were nominated for the same awards."

Moses was born in Lagos, the largest city in Nigeria, but moved to England at age 11 as an asylum seeker after his parents were killed in a religious attack.

His talent saw him quickly scouted by a number of London's best clubs. Crystal Palace saw off Tottenham to add him to their academy ranksand he arrived at Chelsea for £9 million after the early promise he had shown at Palace earned him a move to Wigan Athletic, then a Premier League side.

Success in west London was not immediate, and Moses was sent on loan to Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham.

But Chelsea now count on Moses as their first-choice right wing-back. They have been without him for the past month, forcing Cesar Azpilicueta to fill in.

The Spaniard may not possess Moses' direct running or goalscoring threat but the 26-year-old says no one has been a bigger influence on him as he has adapted to the defensive demands of his new role.

"I'd say Azpilicueta [has influenced me most]," Moses revealed. "He played a huge part in my defensive development last season.

"He is always behind me, always constantly talking to me to make sure I am in the right position. When is the time to go and when’s the time to stay.
