What you just wrote here is common all over the world (especially in 3rd world countries where there is a wider gap btw the rich and the poor.

Dont we Nigerians also discrimimate and trample upon each other? Heck, richer Nigerians despise poorer Nigerians!
What about tribal and religious discrimination here in Nigeria amongst ourselves?

In places like India, discrimination is worst! The richer and lighter skinned Indians treat the poorer and darker skinned Indians from lower castes like filthy trash, just as they would treat a Black african (especially one who is poor).
but these things can be hidden. you can pretend to be rich, you can pretend to be from another tribe however when it is about your skin color you cant hide it, you are a walking target. that is more deadly

Algeria had a rich history from prehistory and we had many civilisations , kingdoms and colonizers that passed on these lands , from phenicians , Romans, Byzantines, Vandals, Arabs, Spanish, turkish Ottoman and French to finish , and each one remained for centuries and left its traces in the architecture of the cities .

do you have 24/7 electricity in Algeria?

So, is this a good enough reason for we Nigerians to accuse others of something we are also guilty of?

Black people have given themselves a bad name, and this is not just about skin colour. Cant you see the way Nigerians for instance are exporting criminality and prostitution all over? If we are discriminated, we should blame our own selves.

Arabs can be extremely anti black, didn't their slave trade even start before and last longer than the transatlantic one? And we're still hearing about cases as recent as the 21st century. Last place I'd visit tbh

And who were the ones selling the slaves? Was it not the same black people who were selling fellow black people as slaves to these whites and arabs? I don't understnd how you guys be hating others on our self-inflicted problems.

Lol, keep posting your stuff and ignore irrelevant questions, my conference in Algiers was for 3days, I was issued a 90 days visa, after the conference, I decided to enjoy the city and it was great, l was never discriminated by any Algerian national, I was to Lodge in a hotel in Constantine on my way to Anaba, I didn't know anyone in Constantine, I, simply walked to a police commiseriat in Constantine, the officers were happy to see me, assisted me to get a good hotel, they issued me with a note from the police, in the note they wrote that the hotel should provide me with all assistance l needed because I am a visitor to Algiers, I went to the hotel, paid and they gave me a comfortable apartment, l checked out in the morning, took a luxury bus to Anaba, in the Bus l was well treated by other passengers, immediately the bus left heading to Anaba, the police stopped to check inside, they walked up to me greeted me and told me to enjoy my stay, l made several friends in Algeria, even at Anaba, an Algerian guy was coming to pick me from my hotel to different tourist attractions in Anaba, I went to different clubs and I was never for once discriminated against, rather they were happy to see me, I also visited different Catholic churches in Oran, Algiers and Anaba and one Catholic priest l met told me he has lived in Algiers for 25years and he has never been insulted nor any bad word used against him, if you ask me, I will prefer to live in Algeria than any country in the whole of Africa, maybe I was lucky but I don't know, Algeria is a good country and all the infrastructures are topnotch and comparable to what you see in Europe or America cool

l am not suggesting you take any risk, I am stating the obvious as someone who has visited Algeria and my interactions with them, l have also visited other Arab nations for work related issues and I enjoyed every bit of it, as long as you respect the laws of your host, you have nothing to worry about, I will prefer to live with Arabs than live in any African countries, l have visited few Arab nations and they treated me very well and I will not come here to speak negatively against them

Bia OP, I need u to do me one favour.. Simply link me up with an Algerian pretty lady. I av always known that Algeria is quite organized.

I was exposed to foreign contents in my very early childhood. I'm not surprised at all..

Libya would av gone extremely far ahead of many European countries by now but they killed their leader and disorganized the courntry.

One way to know a good country is by the number of their citizens fleeing abroad to survive..

Nigerians are almost everywhere in this world.. It was during the early stage of my life I listened to a BBC programme and got to know that Nigerians have king in Algeria.. Lolz..

Nigeria can't be compared to many countries even in Africa..

Ordinary traffic light is rare in our state capitals aside some parts in Lagos and abuja..

People who still support nigeria are funny. Not as if Algeria is perfect, even Europe js not perfect but there are things we should av overcomed by now..such as electricity, good roads, water supply, etc at least in our capitals..

These are lacking even in govt houses here in Nigeria. Nigeria is a funny case study.
i can't believe u someone can be diz honest...God will help u bro to achieve ur dreams...Keep thriving...U really touched me now with diz ur piece of honesty...Funny some Nigerians still deceive themselves...

why dont you visit those same countries when you are looking for work ? na that time you go sabi say khakhi no be leather lmao. now dont get me wrong now, i have dated a moroccan back in the day but that was in london. like i wouldnt date her if i was in morocco. just the other day on frontpage a fella nearly got lynched to death for talking to an indian woman in the mall in india. many black people have been lynched to death for talking to local women in these countries with people with backward mentality. a huge case that is trending now, a black guy was killed in greece for dancing with white women. you better watch out bro. this world is hostile and cold. dont get carried away thinking everything is all sweet. the black man is the prey

An Algerian thread isn't complete without mentioning Cheb Mami, my friend plays his music a lot in his car and I eventually fell in love and started downloading his songs too from the internet. I don't understand what the heck he's saying, but his songs does hit some chords within me. Lovely singer from that country I must say.
