Amen to the bolded.
The Reading wasn't that bad just as you said. I'd never really struggled with Listening in previous attempts but today's recording sounded a little faster than normal that I even found myself split seconds behind the tape a couple of times. Maybe na the cold AC, I no sure cheesy cheesy grin
I just hope it's not a new tactic by BC to 'retain customers' cos they've lost this one for good.
I thought I was the only one. That Saturday's listening test wasn't it at all. A couple of times I found myself behind. I am relying on God to perfect what he has started.

Amen. That's my only hope cos I don't understand why the recording was so fast like that.

Were you denied based on insufficient funds only? If yes, request for your GCMS notes and reapply. It is very easy to tackle. Your CRS score is low but you can use EE as plan B.

Thank you soo much glitteringstar, i really appreciate your response.. Yes i was denied based on only insufficient funds and i agree that its easy to tackle.

anyway in another case, how else do you think i can increase my CRS score?

I hope i don't sound somehow

1. Try to score CLB 10 in your IELTS test.

2. Gain one more year work experience.

3. Learn French and do a French test.

4. Do one year postgraduate diploma course or master's program.

5. Go through the PNP route.

Hi all,

Please how does past visa refusal from any country affect the timeline of processing one's PR application. A survey was done on some applicants that are delayed at the NA2 stage and most of them had one visa refusal or the other and indicated same in their application. Some of them have been on the same stage for 2 to 4 weeks and counting while their counterparts and those who applied after them have long received PPR. Their applications are still at CIO, Sydney and not yet assigned to any local visa office.

Please any experience of those who successfully got PPR with a visa refusal which they indicated in their application and what was their timeline like?

I appreciate your responses.

No, You need at least 1 year work experience in the last 10 years

The work must be in NOC O, A or B

I'm not answering your question because I haven't received PPR yet. This is just to offer another perspective.

While this may be the case for most, It doesn't apply to me. I have never had a visa rejection before and this is my third week on NA2. I have travelled to about 26 countries in the last 6 years so I simply attributed the delay in NA2 to verification from those countries I have visited.

This is simply my theory as I have no way of knowing for sure why I'm stuck in NA2.

This theory is somewhat true but not totally true. I was in NA2 for 77days before moving to IP2 recently and I had 3 refusals in the past. I think other factors like expensive travel history (esp. to certain countries) can make one to stay in NA2 for long.

Lord have mercy on you all. LOL

To be fair, most of those countries are in the Schengen area and some of those countries get as e be. If you've been to Luxembourg and Vatican City, you have automatically been to Belgium and Italy, respectively. Same applies to some extent for Liechtenstein and Monaco.
