Not sure the noise about C&I Leasing. Doubt new 'numbers' that came out to warrant change of opinion. The share reconstruction is not really new. It was always on the table. Now, many companies will 'pump up' their prices because of plan public offers. People need to shine their eyes. Money is made when you sell, so when buying consider what will happen when you plan to sell. Someone just gave example of Nigeria German Chemicals! People need to be careful and not get carried away with penny stocks which are looking good but have very POOR corporate governance, Companies that dont release results as at when due. 1 Like |

MARKET IS BECOMING SICK BUT ADEQUATE DRUG IS MADE AVAILABLE! Yesterday saw NSE ASI broke away from a 3 day range, however most technical indicators are pointing to a slowing down market. As the index price is rising, momentum indicators are mostly flat and technically, this indicates that the market is not healthy. To be healthy, market price and momentum needs to align. Either market price will swallow its pride and go to meet momentum (meaning market pullbacks) or momentum goto meet price on its "mountainous castle" (price continue to rally). The goodnews is the index is using another "power" to drive its price up. This power is found in the volume. Yesterday's volume is fairly larger than the volume of the ranging days. If the volume keeps rising, then NSE rally most likely will to continue with momentum catching up later else, price will need to catch up with the declining momentum. IMPORTANT POINTS -Price, momentum and volume must keep "rising together" to have healthy rally -A rising NSE index causes most stocks to rally while most stocks decline in a falling index PLAN YOUR TRADES AND TRADE YOUR PLANS

currentprice:you are the chief of those who pushed up this stock, and you know that it never works all the time, you tried it on one insurance company (linkage assurance), but it didn't work. One of the main reason it's working on this, is the small outstanding number of shares, Infact few individuals can actually do the same thing on any other stock. And now, herd mentality of investors is incharge of the bid. However it is still possible that it can send one to the village 1 Like |

veecovee: I dont agree with you on this veecovee. currentprice is refering to CAVERTON and not CILEASING. Cileasing has already risen to 100% before he alerted the forum on the ability to do another 100% because of the NUMBERS. Here,I discovered he has already taking position before broadcasting it,only to hear him said he has sold after few days to his announcement(monkey hunting) . Cileasing is not a bad investment for anyone who wants to go long only that RECONSTRUCTIONS is not good for Nigeria stocks. You can ask unity bank, iei, union bank, union homes etc. My question is why will a company with few OS and good numbers and can even pay dividend if they want,.....decide to embark on reconstructions if not to show WICKEDNESS to minority shareholders. Maybe they want to push away minority shareholders and finally delist the company from NSE.who knows..... Nevertheless,I am looking forward to position here post reconstructions if the 400m shares will be avalable for us to buy @ #2.00.who knows if the NUMBERS will disappear by then. 2 Likes |

This is why Nigeria may never advance in our generation. Pull him down mentality is everywhere. All those calling on currentprice are envious of his ability to value and predict the direction of stock prices. He never asked anybody to buy ci leasing. He never mentioned caverton here. I remember how people here were begging him, mention the stock and all that. Just wondering what will be the usefulness of this thread if people like Currentprice stop giving their opinion on stocks. Anyway I have made up my mind to leave NSE for now. 4 Likes |
