It looks like the Cleaner Lagos Initiative has commenced without the knowledge of many of the applicants.
I just read about the inauguration on premium times dated August 22 (today).

I believe the programme have commenced. I saw 3 persons today at 3 different locations putting on T-shirt for cleaner Lagos. Any observation from the house?

1. It should be noted that the job description entails daily street sweeping and cleaning by community sanitation workers (CSWs).

2. The CSWs, when employed, will earn a remuneration of N18,500 (Eighteen Thousand, Five hundred naira ONLY) monthly.

3. The CSWs will sweep streets within their area of residence, and must be fully clad in full Cleaner Lagos gear for the duration of sweeping.
In conclusion, it is important to note that all currently open vacancies are only those for CSWs with the description explained above. There are NO OTHER vacancies, therefore, candidates, followers, and the public are advised to be cautious when contacted by unauthorized third parties claiming to act on behalf of the Cleaner Lagos Initiative.

Mmmmmmm, but they told us previously above minimum wages, tax free salaries, health insurance, accident insurance, pension etc why are they now saying renumeration 18500 only, that said they will be direct staff of Lagos state mmmmm according to what I heard about on those lawma woman sweeping before I learnt they pay very well like 45k and they said d new initiative will be better than before mmmmmm; after the tidious preliminary screening with white medical specialist, full security personel, people were even convince all about d initiative are true the process was even more tidious than neibourhood corps mmmmmmmm just speaking my mind there website was even upgraded showing it is a good initiative. I rest my case ....

Hmmmm.... we all heard is 18,500 all i want to know is when they are starting the work

I knew some training happened last week Tuesday for Sanitation Supervisors at NACA house Alausa, that some would resumed almost immediately while task was given to all present to check out where offices could be located in such supervisors location... CSW are of the school cert while Supervisor overseas and manage them while such supervisor report to area manager....
