It's a good thing then that you didn't inherit the self hatred that we see here, " blacks are demons and whites are angels " . I wish they could visit a country with many white people so they can see for themselves that white people are human , they can be poor or rich like them lol.

Yes Abuja is the capital city with many expatriates , so obviously it must have those things buy let's be honest the rest of Nigeria is not Abuja or the good parts of lagos . The reason Nigerians usually go to other countries to create slummish conditions is because they are not used to living in clean conditions and they can't stand maintaining nice properties grin I'm not saying all but majority. Lagos the city of " excellence " is ranked among the worst cities because of Nigerian's lack of maintenance culture .

Its great you visit your home land then. I see you have great love for Nigeria like the pidgin2 wonan grin very few of you on this forum, the rest seem to have some serious self hatred . I'm not saying the lies pidgin2 tells are right though grin she is a serial denialist grin. It's good though that you want to go back and contribute to the positive side .

Nigeria is a great place, there are several other places besides Abuja and Lagos which are never mentioned. There's Jos, Kano, Kaduna, Sokoto, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Taraba etc all these places are cool. Let's not forget Delta and co.

The fact that many Nigerians seem ignorant doesn't mean the country isn't good. You will see a typical Nigerian telling you that eating goat meat pepper soup of 10cedis in Ghana is cheap meanwhile he will get that for half the price in Nigeria and same quality but because it's 10cedis in Ghana and N500 in Nigeria he will foolishly tell you Ghana's is cheaper meanwhile if you convert the currency N500 is about 5 CEDIs

The average Nigerian is ignorant but if you visit the country you will understand this. That's why the internet doesn't do Nigeria justice.

Forget about male chauvinism, can't you see it's more or less stupidity? Females who know this live above it. Behind the self entitlement is a very weak self esteem

That said, the land called Nigeria is "Green" meaning there's so much to do here and it's unfortunate that many Nigerians expect to be spoon fed to harness the good of the land. Why else will we have foreigners living and making it big here? Many have even naturalized

As incredible as it may seem to some myopic folks there are many US, UK, Canadian citizens living, working and settled here.

You should pay us a visit

If you want to chill and relax, Abuja is better but if you want to have fun, then Lagos is the place to be

Thanks for that. But what I want you to understand here is that, I got my self here because of what uv said about my country. I felt a lil bad after your nice comment and I bet I haven't said all that. But what uv said is not right. Africans shouldn't treat each other this way. And since Hati13 is my friend too. . .I would like to see you both make peace

Abuja is not like that because of Expatriates (basically White people) it is like that because it is a planned city. Trust me the people with the most money in Abuja are Nigerians. They attempted to build a city in the way it should be and it is still very much a work in progress.
Re: Giant Of Africa (pics) by londoner: 8:28pm On Nov 15, 2017
Abuja is not the best city in the world and perhaps does not rival some parts of SA cities that's for sure but there are some really nice places and it means a lot that the people at the top look like me.

Expatriates doesn't equal white people, I personally know 3 who are non whites living in Abuja who are from SA. My point was that almost every capital city in the world has to have those standards because it is the face of the country , so Abuja is nothing special. Obviously the richest people in an city would be it's citizens. Look at SA the three cities of governance , city of Tshwane, Cape Town and Bloemfontein. They look immaculate and are constantly getting face-lifts and you will hardly find a Nigerian living in their cbds grin coz we don't want them to turn into another Joburg cbd cheesy.

Yes foreigners are employees or contractors in Abuja I notice that. The person doing the paying looks like me...the 'oga or madam at the top'. The people being paid are foreigners and also Nigerians. Coming from the UK this is refreshing to me. I know that those standards are not unique to Abuja that's not what I'm suggesting at all. I am saying Abuja ( and other places) also have certain standards contrary to what many believe. Even though we still have a way to go.
