TheGoodJoe: I think with time and as undeniable realities of time begin to manifest, people will begin to appreciate positions of different People's opinions here. I have not forgotten your stance regarding the best player picked not minding his level of experience. Lord Guardiola seems to be getting it right with his system, but no one seems to appreciate TheGoodJoe's belief in his system. 2 Likes 1 Share |

forgiveness: This Sone Aluko, Is he messi? He has been playing in below par league all his life save for one or two seasons in EPL. If he is so good, he would be in mid table team. Even if he chosed England, there's higher possibility that he would remain capless till today. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

I don't know why people keep listing success on the list. He's not going to any world cup. It's high time some of us stopped throwing names up and down! The current team have 85% of those going to the world cup already. forgiveness: 2 Likes |

Action speaks bro. Except Musa doesn't play competitive football next year, he's surely going to be in Russia. Has alot of things in his favor. Plays well in the world cup and against big names[ Understand a bit of Russian language, understands the weather from his stay here. He's a pivotal part of the SE and has something in him that makes coaches call him to the camp, dunno what it it, but his teammates like him around. Lastly, his loyalty which all coaches look for is unquestionable. I repeat, unless he stops playing competitive football next year, he's going to Russia. Humility017: 7 Likes |

Humility017: For the crucial games against Cameroon and Zambia tell me why you should bench Shehu for Ebuehi after the former put up mind blowing performances. Shehu was a phenomenon even ahead of that Zambia game. No reasonable coach would have started Ebuehi ahead of Shehu. You don't just throw players into the starting 11 at random. I personally expected Ebuehi to start against Algeria of which we nothing to lose but Rohr had other plans. Rohr introduces players gradually into the team and I OK with that. 4 Likes |

Humility017:True word. They stand far far better chances with us than with England. Let those who are wise among them take note but those who want the hype and the glamour of playing England should go. We can and will do just fine still. |

but we are not progressing beyond quarter final in any of their permutations. In most of it, we are eliminated in first round. So it might just be their arrangement and not on how strong the team's are. SerVik: |

He should move back to Russia, there are top teams there he can play for. I for one don't like he EPL, kills creativity except you find yourself in man city or arsenal not to talk of the championship Humility017: 1 Like |

forgiveness:I get your point on Aluko, but Anichebe(though very good) is not a very consistent player, l don't think he would do better than lghalo, Kayode, or Dessers(If called up). The fact is, we can't call everybody at this point, we must first look out for our weakest positions like the left back or Attacking midfield, going by this I'll agree with you that we can call up an Aluko or joel obi to see what they can offer. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 7:57pm On Nov 16, 2017 |
forgiveness: Aluko was never really in contention for an England call-up but it is not because of a lack of ability. How many English players play in scotland or the championship . He did not set the Premier League alight.. That said, Aluko will be a great addition to the current team. |

Until the next international window, lemme amuse myself on this thread by seeing the continuous mention of names like Some Aluko,Ramon Azeez,Thiago Ilori,Obafemi Martins, etc that some people want us to take to the world cup As if they don't know that Baba Rohr is taking a large chunk of the WCQ boys to Russia. Thus thread might even hit 3000 pages before thus year ends due to the endless argument 2 Likes |

komekn:In the end - if we follow your suggestion - we will take new players not a team to the World Cup. Do you know how incredibly hard it is to build something. When you see this boys laughing in camp, playing, fraternizing it looks simple abi? No! Some persons worked hard to set the tone of unity and brotherhood. I like excellence but I know where to draw the line between idealism and reality. 5 Likes |

tbaba1234: The way they are praising this Aluko ehn ..Somebody said he singlehandedly helped Hull city gain promotion to the EPL and was in contention to make the three lions team while at Rangers.. Lwkmd When was the last time a Scottish based or Championship player made the three lions squad? Tom Heaton might be the last to get a call up from the championship while he was with Burnley.. Aluko might indeed be the man to deputise for Mikel in the AMF role, like some people are saying, but biko, this hype too much 3 Likes |

Danielnino00: New players will break in.. Idowu looks like he would break in, Uzoho too.. Rohr also talked about a German CB who has agreed to play for us. Then we have Sarenren Bazee. Most of the team will come from the WC qualifiers though.. 1 Like |
