julzz: i would say Virgin atlantic is a no no for me, i flew virgin sometimes this year with my toddler and i regretted it. they aint child friendly, infact as soon as they see you ve an infant or a toddler, they tell you to stay aside and all sort of runnish. i didnt enjoy their services at all. just that its easier and faste to get to the states via UK(Europe) 1 Like |

Good afternoon house, Please I need clarification on this. I dropped our(myself&hubby) passports on tuesday for dropbox application. I received a mail today to schedule an interview, however my husband didnt reveive any. And in my own mail, they used singular words e.g dear applicant, pick your passport, etc. Please how can we confirm his own application status? we need to know this because ot requires us to travel and wont be neccassary he does if he has bin given. For mothers that used Oakbend, pls did you get an itemìzed invoice for your renewal interview? because the doctors' and hospitals zero balances only may not be sufficient. Thanks. |

Congratulations. The bold lines got you the visa. Good that you let the VO know it's because of dual citizenship. Someone in your same situation that have travel to UK many times was refused, the VO asked her why not give birth in UK but she did not tell the VO what they expect to hear. It's time to open up during the interview to let the VO know it's because of the dual citizenship. I salute your courage, congrats!!! meadows: |

urblackpearl:when u get to the airport, u give them ur visa on arrival approval letter, they then print out the ticket. I think it cost me about 113 or 117. dollars... but it wasn't up to 120 dollars... some pple have actually paid less, like 80 dollars. I think it depends on the period. mine was in December. 1 Like |

Omodadi2: Are you the primary applicant? i.e. is it your details on the ustraveldocs or appointment portal? I was the primary applicant and I got the same mail and it was "dear applicant" but both our passports were returned. My DH didn't get that mail. You will get another message from ustraveldocs when your passport is ready for pick up. That's when you will know if your husband was given the visa or not. Let's know how it goes |

Omodadi2: Eh... if you got a 221g "refusal" (i.e. applied via Dropbox and asked to schedule interview) you may not be able to expedite your appointment. The date I got for interview was two days to my travel date (I was going for a meeting). I tried to expedite it.. called, emailed and chatted with their customer care agent and was told that you can't expedite a 221g appointment. There is no harm in trying though. |
