While in bin awaiting trial a chief judge came to d prison and freed prisoners including this man because is was a civil case. The abused girl is still in d welfare till date. Case is still in court . d court is now after d man's wife who is also culprit. .I advice that u should help your friend by looking for a safe place for d little girl to stay. Away from d father. And make sure he apologizes to d daughter and try to counsel d girl to cover d Father's unclothedness NCOs no one is perfect.

Anyway, dude goes to stake his claim and begin the collection process only to be billed 200k. As he starts to protest, he's asked if he knows how his car was revovered which, of course. he doesn't. They lied that there was a shootout with robbers and that one of their colleagues is critically injured and they'll need money for hospital bills which government isn't really paying. So, they can't leave their colleagues to suffer in vain while car owner simply waltzes away with his car . He must to drop something.

Car owner pleads and pleads and has to negotiate to 50k, after all he wants is his car back. Takes him couple of days to come up with the money and take it there. No car. Dem done move am.

Long story short, it takes him almost a month to get that car back from them, and that is after involving a lawyer. And he still parted with 100k, as well as, lawyer fees.

So many stories they tell of lawyers and judges being intimidated by them. Sometimes, the way a case is handled at inception can Bleep up a good case.

So the OP deactivated , I read the whole thread from beginning to the end. Too much emotions on this thread (I'm sure everyone understands why).

A man witnessed his friend having sex with his own daughter , I don't even think there's anything more abominable than this , the mere thought of it gives me the creeps ...so many people said he should have recorded a video, some said he should have called on the neighbours ,others said he should have screamed...all this is easier said than done in this kind of situations.


The man was obviously confused , if it were to be his daughter the reaction would have different we all know that ....maybe he was thinking about the stigma like he said , or his "friendship" with the guy or even the justice system if/when he reports ( the man could probably be out in less than a week if he's reported to the police )

So that event occurred , the OP didn't do anything about it and brought it to Nairaland for a solution ... Then came the insults, the ridiculous questions , the curses while all the man needed was HELP... I'm sure if the man had gotten someone to HELP on the first page and not just give "advises" like we usually do a girl would have been saved now .

Imagine if he could do this to his own child, everybody else will be like ants. This is a monster. Op, this friend of yours deserves no sympathy. He is a disgrace to humanity. Long story short.....I have a friend who lives with his 13 yrs old daughter...... Recently a female friend who is a neighbor called me and told me the little girl confided in her that the father is harassing her sexually.

I was shocked but sometimes I stay in there home I used to notice some funny moves but I couldn't place my finger on it cos it all seems to me like Father and daughter love.

I couldn't ask the little girl cos I wanted to have a proof. Recently I came visiting and he started that rough play as usual but because I was already tipped as a result I was at Alert. I quickly told him I was going to the shop.....But I didn't go anywhere I came back immediately and went straight to the window. I saw him bouncing untop of her. The expression on her face broke my heart she is not happy.

I called that female neighbor and told her what I saw.....we told a friend we all questioned the little girl she confirmed it to be true.


Now what do we do? We planned to confront the father is this the best step to take?

Maybe I think judges are stupid. Maybe I have seen what should be open-and-shut cases receive incredibly stupendous verdicts. You never know. But this is Nigeria where shit can turn around against the person in the right in the twinkle of an eye.

If you have ever been involved with the law in this country you'll know to bring your 100% when dealing with them. But what do I know, not only judges can be stupid.
