Humility017: Exactly, the guy has a soft spot for the English league and all players playing there... I don't have a problem with that, but downplaying other leagues and forcing English groomed players down our throats is what I can not take. He and his partner in crime @forgiveness must think that we are clueless about football and these players simply because we are not close up to them as much as they do forgetting that the world does not revolve around UK and English football alone. I dare say that football exist outside England and very good football too. Having a preconceived notion about other country leagues purely based on statistics is hogwash. I mean if stats play football then there is no need for predictions and analyses anymore, let's all close shop and go home since we already know every competition's winner. To me, having a preconceived prejudice is being high handed and sitting on a false glorified high stool which wouldn't make you see beyond your nose. The same mistake England keep making over and over. There is a big difference between the English league and the English team. Take away all the foreign players from the English league and tell me what will be left of it. The best of the world's players make the English league thick and that's why when it comes to the 3 lions, they are a shadow of themselves. Therefore it will be too erroneous judging football from only the English perspective, we have had a fair share of our SE players from the English league, let's blend them with players from other leagues, we have the advantage of variety, so let's use it. Enough of clamoring for 22/11 players all from the English leagues. Also we should be done testing new or fringe players, no time anymore for that. We only 4-5 matches to play before the world Cup, let's use it to blend and gel the already available players. At this stage, so long as you are not a Messi or a Ronaldo, please stay far away from our team. Thank you 16 Likes 1 Share |

realpoacher: God will continue to bless you always! I just love what Rohr is doing... He knew little about football tactics and team spirit and cohesion...but he's very good at the business part of the game... Have stopped arguing with him.. Continuity cost us 2002, 2010 and 2014 and first first time we re getting things right... Loyalty and believe in your team matter most Thank you once again 6 Likes |

soetanoreoluwa: You are welcome o jare. The guy had it coming since he wouldn't stop forcing English bred players down our throats. If he was a player, he would be either a Pius Ikedia or Valencia kind of player - one way traffic. SMH! 3 Likes |

Joebie: I see my favourite player in Europe currently is right there on the list,Nabil Fekir of course. The dude is a monster. He's got silly numbers this season. 11 goals, 4 assists in 11 games is absolutely mental. Jesus! I must confess Mbappe has nothing on the talented Fekir. He's even scored from the halfway line this season. It is heart warming to see him return to his devastating best after being out injured for a season. Sometimes, I wish I was French. If there was justice in the world, the French should make light walk of this this world cup. Radmir Falcao should be in the also. 13 goals in 11 games is crazy stuff . 1 Like 1 Share |

Mujtahida: In any forward thinking organisation there is continous development. To increase thier competitive advantage. Stability over continous improvement means stagnation which in turn will lead to mediocrity. Stability as you put it and in this context is essentially the enthronement of mediocrity. I have had involvement with a good number of clubs in the EPL and Championship. I have never heard of the word stability over continous consistent improvement and development. 1 Like |

Mujtahida:My man is not about like but performance. If we want to based it on likeness then we w not have a solid team. No doubt Isaac Success is a talented player but presently he need to get fit and back to form.He can only do this by playing week in week out which is not guaranteed, so why putting hope on such player. Isaac making the team is dicey no sentiment but based on current situation.Honestly my advice for him is to seek loan to may be championship club in January and regained his form for national team consideration.. The issue of likeness should not arise but performance nothing more, enough of past glory especially youth football glory. If we are making case for Success then we are unfair to player like Awoniyi, Osimhen, Kelechi Nwakili, Joel Obi,Sadiq Umar,Alhassan Muzzam at least we are seeing them every week. On Oyekwuru the guy is doing it every week and deserves a place in the squad for now ahead of off form Success but it's left for Oyekwuru to grab his opportunity or else he lose out,no time to waste on any player. 1 Like 1 Share |
