Thinking of loading more WAPCO next week. I sense there has been steady accumulation on that stock for a while now probably in respect to the long awaited rights issue. Please, house is this a right decision?

Bua is not a listed coy. However, nothing to watch for now as most stocks would be hit by Christmas effect. Yours truly is mobilising cash seriously to take position then for cap appreciation and income... grin

Hello BSIL

Just wondering if anyone has experience of dealing with Veritas Registrars. Have processed my e-dividend mandate with them on two separate occasions and again asked me to process a new application, deliberately not paying my outstanding dividends.

I also bought shares through the just concluded right issue. They claimed that it's been credited to my broker account. However, no record in my cscs or broker account.

I want to know if any honourable member of the house has experienced such with Veritas registrars. I know oga Manie holds Guinness shares, I would value your contribution pls

But all these problems of dividends why can't cscs organise it in such a way that investors will be asked to furnish their acc details to the cscs. In that case if investor buys shares ur account info with other info will be forwarded to registrar in charge of coy u bought shares from, and registrars will use to credit investors acc when dividends are declared. why do we like suffering the masses. If this is done no need to be running around in search of dividend

You just said what I've been wondering about. Why can't our brokers simply surply NSE our accounts details, into which they should simply pay our dividends? Why does NSE need a special ceremony before it could give us our due dividends? I think there is an ulterior motive. They want to continue to eat our money.

We have discussed Veritas problem here alot.

They are owning me Dangote Sugar and Zenith dividends, even after I have received NIBSS alerts that my E-dividend mandate has been approved.

Veritas is a worse registras compared to FBN.

They don't pick call nor reply email.

I just hope SEC is monitoring this.

If many of us are thinking alike, then we can effect a system change. Let ten of us write separate letters to SEC/NSE/CSCS to that effect
