They play 4 at the back. When they are 4 at the back, then the outside guys are called fullbacks not wing backs Questence: |

komekn:The truth is football is changing. It used to be entertainment and so skills, dribbling, showboating etc were the order of the day. But today's it business and business has no time for dazzle. I must however note that the SE is now direct and business like in their play. Passes are more incisive. My best kind of football is that played by the champions league winning team of Bayern in 2013. |

maidaboi: Dedebanky85: tbaba1234: Dedebanky85: You are all wrong. Porto B plays 3 at the back. He plays as a wing back not right back. And he is still listed as a midfielder meaning should their formation return to 4 at the back he will play in the midfield just like victor moses. Check the picture of their profile I have attached.

I doubt it, maybe they look at "experience" before picking because we have about 2 young Nigeria ref (Qadri Adebimpe and Ferdinand Udoh, both less than 30yrs (very true to their ages) and have been officiating both CCL, CCC, nations cup qualifiers and world cup qualifiers. Look them up, they are FIFA badged refs. Joebie: |

Mujtahida: I am now perplexed, this is something I have gone to great lengths to advocate about. So I really do not see your point. Go back to my past posts and enrich yourself in that particular discourse. You are changing the goal posts again. When I talk about players in England, I may have seen them in training, talked to thier coaches, thier agents watched thier games live over a period and in addition talk to them. When I want to know more about Nigerian football there are those I look at and regard highly on this forum. I don't need feel a need to check myself. Let someone who is in mainland Europe who has watched him in training, spoken to his coaches, seen him live over a period and has indepth experiential knowledge of the Belgium and or Eredivisie leagues talk about him. Not me. I have a friend who is the head of recruitment at championship club. He was previously the HOD recruitment of three current EPL clubs. He does not do videos, admittedly he is very old school. |

Mujtahida: Unfortunately this is a observation that most still have not made or accepted. So people judge a player even on thus thread buy unnecessary show boating. I remember when Iwobi did a rainbow flick of sorts on the pitch. It was as if he scored a goal. 1 Like |

The Connecticut Lottery has an iconic TV promo, back when I lived there, it says, you can't win if you don't play. Our boys haven't progressed because, in some cases, they haven't really been given a chance to play. You can't progress if you don't play. Take the case of Kelechi, for instance, how many games has he started and completed at Leicester since the beginning of the season? Now, people would expect him to score 20 goals per season just by playing 10 mins per match, here and there. If our players start one or two games without hitting it out the park then they are exiled onto the bench for the foreseeable future. Now, how do you expect them to perform wonders? Do you know that sitting on the bench does damage to one confidence? I don't know if you know my story but I speak from experience when I say some of these things. O pari komekn: |
