Hi all,Got my ITA last week. I will like to make some clarification from gurus in the house 1.Do I need to accept the invitation now even if my documents will be ready next week? 2.My spouse is the PA.I am transferring the fund to her account which she intends to put in a fixed deposit account subsequently. Is this arrangement okay or we should leave the fund in her account without fixing? 3. |

mamacajah: This is just for Voluntary contributions, this is different from mandatory contributions which is domiciled in your RSA account. most RSA holders don't even do VC anyways. see this link https://www.scribd.com/document/364694258/Legal-Opinion-on-the-Circular-on-Voluntary-Contribution for some insights. |

Chester2018: Hi - see answers below; 1. No - you cannot accept an invitation without all your supporting documents attached to your e-APr. You have 90 days to accept the invitation and I believe this deadline is stated on your ITA letter. 2. Personally I would not put the PoF in a FD account if my documents will be ready in a week and I plan to submit my application asap. The choice is yours. All the best! 1 Like |

Chester2018: 1. If you are sure your documents will be ready next week, then go ahead and accept the invitation. The downside is that the 90 days countdown starts the moment you accept the invitation. I guess that's why Ehrnie said no. 2. If your spouse is accompanying you, you don't have to transfer the money. As long as the money is in either the PA or accompanying person's name, no big deal. 3. I have no idea about PCC in Abuja. 1 Like |

Algbenguze: I don't know how this method works for you, I have tried it over and over again, I couldn't cope with writing what the speakers were saying and as well listen, as I miss-out the key points in the process of jotting down their words. The best practise that worked for me was read the question carefully and then listen to the reason given, then scan through the answers to see what option matches (either in exact words or paraphrase). 6 Likes |

1. Yes and No - Yes, you can accept and start filling all the forms pending when your documents will be ready. And NO, you can wait till your document is ready. It doesn't matter which ever you choose because you have 90 days to accept or decline invitation. 2. If you are an accompanying spouse, you do not need to transfer the money, you can use your own statement and provide a letter stating your spouse has access to the fund. However, if you are not an accompanying spouse, then you can give her the money Chester2018: 1 Like |

Ehrnie: On your response about the POF saved in FD are you saying the person should not do that? I ask because the best advice when saving for this process is to put the monies either in Tbills or Fixed Deposit so that the money doesn't sit and be collecting dust in your account while your bank takes charges on it. I hope i dont don't get your statement wrong 1 Like |

Good morning everybody. I am a newbie and silent reader on this page. Please I need your advice. About registering for wes but when we(hubby n i) got to the payment option, we saw payment s through 3 diff forms: 1. Credit card 2. Cheque or money order 3. Western union The question now is how can we make the payment to wes from Nigeria using regular debit card ( gtb naira mastercard to be precise). So we just saved and exit. N.B. I have searched the page thoroughly for any info concering this but no luck. |

KINGTELLER: It works mainly for when you have the questions printed on paper, not doing it from the computer screen. That's how it is in real test anyway. By jotting I didn't mean word for word, you can't cope with the speed. I meant jotting key points, relating to the question you're looking to answer, on the question paper, close to the question. It'll be more like taking the minutes of a speech. Usually in such questions, the speaker would likely touch on all the options given just to throw you off but he will always only affirm one (directly or indirectly). It takes a little speed in writing and several times of practice to master. Once you get hold of it, even if all 40 questions were to be MCQs, you'll still score very high if not all. 1 Like 1 Share |

Ekinado: 1hr is far o. Where did you see this hotel? Jumia travels has some good blackfriday deals. Since it's Ibadan you are coming from why not leave very early in the morning so that you can meet up with the medical and then do your PCC? Doesn't take the whole day. |
