Algerian1: You need to pray Morocco's new reported acquisition plan fill fail Morocco now competing with Algeria in Russia. Morocco is standing in line to acquire the S-400 long range SAM. Rabat and Moscow are also in talks on the Sukhoi Su-34 tactical bomber and Amur-1650 diesel-electric submarine deal https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2017/11/18/russia-arms-sales-middle-east-countries-spike-record-high-levels.html

nganduh: The vehicle in that second photo looks like the "relic" I alluded to earlier. Looks a great deal like some of those improvised mine-protected vehicles which started appearing in the late 70s. I have no idea how the army kept it running, never mind looking in such pristine condition, with the budget and resources they have. Hats off to some unsung tiffies somewhere at Inkomo. 1 Like |

Sudan has acquired Su-35 Flanker fighter jets from Russia ahead of President Omar Al-Bashir’s visit to Moscow on Thursday. First batch of Su-35 jets were delivered late last week, Sudanese deputy air force commander, Salahuddin Abdul Khaliq Saeed, announced the deal in March. He told Sputnik news agency that the jets will consolidate Sudan’s defenses for protection from any threat. The number of fighters delivered, however, was not released. — Majid Mohammed Ali Special to Al Arabiya News English - Khartoum, Monday, 20 November 2017 If the above news is true (Waiting for more reports) then Sudan is now the most powerful air force in Africa after Egypt. Even rafale pilots will fear su-35. Nigeria, South Africa, Ethiopia, sorry for you o! 1 Like

SupremeCourt: Same rumors and fake news from 10 years , the difference is that in algerian contracts its the foreign official sources that talk about the contract first , or a new material is spotted in service like this Chinese MLRS , algerian press copy the info after and algerian army never publish anything , in other side moroccan press are dreaming alone from 15 years about amur submarins , S300 and sukhoi 30 , 34 . So we will talk about when somemething serious is published . ps : there is no info about morocco in the link you have put 1 Like |

Sudan’s Military Industry Corporation (MIC-Sudan, Stand 12-D30) BK-3 Burkan precision-guided glide bomb. The weapon has been developed by the SAFAT Aviation Group and is in service with the Sudanese air force. It is cleared for carriage by the air force’s Mikoyan MiG-29, Sukhoi Su-24 and Hongdu A-5 tactical aircraft. Weighing 270kg, the BK-3 has a blast fragmentation warhead and is suspended from standard 14-in lugs. The weapon has a tail guidance section and a pop-out wing kit that allows it to reach out to 80km when launched from an altitude of 32,800ft (10,000m). Guidance is by a combination of an inertial system with GPS/GLONASS satellite positioning. Target location co-ordinates can be programmed prior to launch, or updated from the cockpit in flight MADE IN SUDAN ----------------------------------------------------

Algerian1: I saw it in many news reports. You cannot predict what another country will do, Morocco has the money, and USA does not have such weapons, so Russia is the only source for S-400 type of missile. Turkey, a NATO country surprised the world by buying Russian missiles. You cannot predict Morocco, the news said they are on the line for it, not that they have ordered it. Some countries spend 10 years to buy a weapon. More than twelve news media in different countries report Morocco negotiating su-34 jets. I can give you two web links, twelve is too much. https://www.defenseindustrydaily.com/russia-to-begin-receiving-su34-longrange-strike-fighters-02595/ https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2017/11/18/russia-arms-sales-middle-east-countries-spike-record-high-levels.html |

SupremeCourt: nope Morocco dont have the money for this kind of contract ! even the F16, FREMM contract was financed by saudis and emiratis . and the moroccan press start again this story only because two things : 1 saudi are trying to get this S 400 system , and saudis bought them their equipments in the past (arab coalition same for egypt and sudan .) so moroccan media expect the same for saudis this time 2 Medvedev will visit morocco soon after visting Algeria , thats why moroccan press start to imagine a big contract with russia again . so until now nothing serious 1 Like |

Respect to those who died, but this terror problems could not have happened at a better time. Almost all the militaries in Africa (except few countries) are literally non existent. But I think we can all agree that almost every military in Africa has improved one way or another because of these terrorists. Imagine these terror attacks beginning ten years from now, talk about disaster. Just hope we can maintain the momentum after. |

Algerian1: Nobody is sure, so you too cannot be sure unless you are the King of Morocco himself, then I will believe you more than 12 news reports. Saudi can finance it again, but Morocco has its own money, $23 billion cash reserves in the pocket of the government. Morocco has money is a fact not an imagination. |

nemesis4u: Almost all of Sudan's home made weapons are direct copies of Russian, Chinese or Iranian weaponry. The fact that they can actually engineer most of the equipment in-house is good, but it is a proxy for someone else...I would guess China. 3 Likes |

SupremeCourt: i m just telling you that all the thousands reports you will find on internet ! all are from same sources ( moroccan media expectations ), i know very well moroccan medias and i read this kind of reports from 15 years nothing official nothing from russian official source . for exemple when algeria negociate the sukhoi 34 , sukhoi compagny published in its official site that there is advanced negociation with algeria and Sergei Smirnov (Director of the Sukhoi Aviation Holding Co. ) him self talk about 12 sukhoi 34 ordered by algeria in january 2016 ( and you know what ? , nothing until today ) . so this kind of report your talking about for north african countries their is thousands each year . and 23 billions reserves its nothing for a country . the gdp of morocco is 100 billions . ( and the funny that this 23 billions , 23% of morocco gdp of morocco represent exactly its exportation of cannabis according to US Department of State 23% of moroccan gdp ( you will find official report too ) , i know a nasty tackle from behind . 2 Likes |

ssaengine: in my personal opinion that it is the chinese FT series / Tiange Series glide bomb kit they most probably mated it with their bomb inventory anyways kudos to them , it does not matter where u get the tech from , all it matters that u successfully put it to ur own use note- my personal opinion only and i could be wrong 3 Likes |
