I wonder if hatred will abound towards Ebuehi once dey know I am among the first person to put him on the radar. grin

I saw how many told me he is not good enough or he is not SE material. The rest is history. grin

Let me use this media to inform the audience here that out of the 4 players that emerged in the Eredivise then , I only singled out Ehizibue and Ebuehi.

Dis two seems to be from two different tribes.

I be from 4 tribes? shocked grin
Gbagbe oro yen. Yes you were one of the first person who believed Ebuehi has something to offer. But what do you think would happen if Aina is tried out there in our friendlies and he performs fantastically? That means we'd have Shehu, Aina and Ebuehi battling for the RB role

Tbaba1234, Joebie and Mujtahida, u guys disappointed me today. Men of ur class shouldn't stoop so low to exchange words with kids in here. A man of repute doesn't engage a man of no substance or value in a fight bkus it will amount to bringing himself to disrepute to the glory of the destitute he engaged. The best way to treat a lunatic is; totally ignore him whenever he is acting funny. We know the men here and we also know the kids amongst us, yes we don't segregate but when one makes himself a black sheep, u treat him like one, by acting like he doesn't exist. Don't give credence to their preposterous and puerile posts that reeks of tribalism and insensitivity.

Did you see me exchanging words with anyone? I only made funny comments.

Agali is Eagles’ chief scout for Russia 2018

OKOGBA

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has listed former striker, Victor Agali as his chief scout going to the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.

Victor Agali

Rohr who guided the Super Eagles to a highly successful qualification campaign told Nice news outlet Nice-Martin that Agali’s contribution to the campaign was priceless, hence his decision to retain him for the World Cup.

Agali worked with Rohr throughout the qualifiers in the capacity of scouting opposition teams and helping identify Nigerian players abroad.

Agali played under Rohr at French side OGC Nice in the 2004-2005 season, scoring six goals in 30 appearances.

It is understood that Rohr is looking at the possibilities of engaging more ex-internationals to enable him build a formidable team for the country ahead of the World Cup in Russia 2018.

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/11/agali-eagles-chief-scout-russia-2018/amp/

Why is Rohr looking for another scout? Where are those scouts that discovered Nwakali in Norway? grin

Has he lost faith in dem after recommended ebu for him? grin

Mujtahida:

Latest reports say Joel Obi is in the frame for March friendlies as a result of his good performances.

Don't be so sure to say Ebuehi would perform worse than Aina as a LWB. He might do well, he might not to well as a LWB. Don't make omnipotent conclusions. And talking about Aina and Shehu they didn't do badly as most seem to make it look. Just that they didn't offer much going forward and Aina left gaps to be exploited when he moved further afield. Very understandable. If Aina does well(and I hope he does) as a RB, RWB it's all good. The coach would have a good headache to deal with.
I am also not yet convinced with Idowu
The LB is not blank. Echiejile is there.

On Taiye Taiwo I am tempted to also make omnipotent conclusions like you but let me be measured and say his chances of being invited are so so slim as to be near impossible.

I base my assumptions on facts and figures. Same assumptions helped me point out perfectly that Aina would struggle as a LB or LWB and it happened, you cannot tell me that the best RB in the Championship suddenly went bad. Same assumptions showed that Shehu would not perform as a wingback and that he isn't the best fullback we have, it showed. If Aina was played in that RWB role he would have performed better than Ebuehi did, take that to the bank. By the time Ebuehi came in the Argentines were already pyschologically down after they witnessed a horror show involving Aguero, Ebuehi thrived no doubt about it but Aina would have been better. Idowu scored and disappeared, forget the entire hype like I have always pointed out Aina is the best among the lot we have at RB and at LB we still have a vacancy.

Hopefully Joel will be invited if he stays fit, I wont hold my breath for that though

Henry Onyekuru Nominated For Goal Of The Week In Belgium

allnigeriasoccer.com

Nov 20, 2017 1:00 PM

Henry Onyekuru's goal against Royal Excel Mouscron in the last round of matches in the Belgian First Division A was eye-catching enough to be a contender for the Goal of the Week award.

Top Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad has picked Onyekuru's second half effort and strikes from Kaveh Rezaei (Charleroi) and Ruud Vormer (Club Brugge) as the best goals of the week in the Belgian top division.

As at the time of this report, Onyekuru was third in the poll with 13 percent, behind Vormer (68 percent) and Rezaei (19 percent).

With the game tied at 1-1, the Nigeria international combined with Algerian Sofiane Hanni to get free in the penalty area, before firing past goalkeeper Logan Bailly in the 80th minute.

The Everton loanee now has seven goals in fourteen appearances for Anderlecht in the regular season.

Onyekuru made his competitive debut for the Nigerian national team when he was introduced in the 71st minute of a World Cup qualifier against Algeria on November 10, 2017.

Akpoguma at the moment is far away from the German team. There is so much depth in Germany. Uduokhai has a better chance of playing for Germany.

Akpoguma's heads up to Germany will not give him an invite. He needs to show a lot from now till the end of season to even be in the mix.

Pray tell what are your facts and figures for saying Ebuehi will not perform well as a LWB?
what he did against Argentina we see him do everytime in training both on the right and left side of defence... Great player- Toyin Ibitoye

I will not take anything to the bank until it happens.

What happened to Aguero wasn't strange. He has the history and he was taken to the hospital as a precaution. Nothing to detract from the performance of the Argentines. They themselves have not given that excuse. Don't give it for them.

That Aina is the best, I won't argue. Na the one wey person see him dey talk. So it remains to be seen.
But peeps try to make it look like it's Aina against Ebuehi and Shehu or Ebuehi against Shehu and Aina. I don't see it that way. I am anxious for Shehu to be the best, for Ebuehi to be the best and for Aina to be the best.

On Idowu I have my doubts but I hope you saw that he was already in the box when Iwobi scored the equalising goal and he was there to pick on the ball from Nacho to score. The truth is our team play is tilted more to the right. Read solace chukwu on medium @oddsolace
"You may have noticed that much of our play comes down the right side of the attack. I make it 8 of our 12 goals were a result of build-up/a passage of play from that flank. That is a staggering percentage. Two have come down the middle, two from the left (one of those a corner)."
There isnt much play on the left side of our play. Against argentina not much interplay happened on left as compared to right. But there was a time an argentine was fouled and mikel was turning and turning . I noticed that idowu had already opened up a bit close to the centre line but nothing came of it cos foul had been given.
Thats why a LMF like Joel obi is needed to balance our play.

On the whole while i have my reservations i am still giving all players the benefit of doubt. I sure they are more eager to perform more than most of us even expect.

What makes it the worst team in the Eredivise after just 8 games out of 30 something?

Who told you he is not starting?

Please, kindly be informed that Ajagun has started in all their league matches prior to receiving red card.

Moreover, that is not what is used to measure the quality of a player. Afterall, Chelsea_F.C was almost relegated last season?

Does that makes Mikel Obi a bad player?

Who are the better ones?

Your respond

tbaba1234:

Right now, Roda are the worst team in eredivise. 0 wins in 8 games even with the incredible Ajagun in the team.

Right now, there is nothing to suggest, Ajagun deserves a place in the eagles. He has been benched in recent games.

forgiveness:

I just asked you a question. What makes it the worst team after 8 games?

Please, tell us how many times he has been benched in recent games?

Tell us how many games Roda fc played without Ajagun?

I need facts.

tbaba1234:

He did not start the last game.

Doesn't the fact that he has started most games make his case worse. He is a creative midfielder in a team that has scored only 3 goals in 8 games..

The @ bolded suggest you agreed he didn't start only one game yet you are still lying he was not playing then. Fear God oooo. grin

I hate to go down this road but I have to: Amaju Pinnick is from Delta State, the first vice president of the NFF S. Akinwummi as well the NFF media officer Toyin Ibitoye are yoruba. The second vice president is Shehu Dikko from the North. Rohr has three Nigerian Coaches Salisu Yusuf from the North, Amapakabo is an okrika man, Alloy Agu is Igbo.

So if a Yoruba man is crying that yoruba players are not given a chance(and it's so clear now to me that that is what it is) does he know better than S. Akinwummi and Toyin Ibitoye who are in a position to influence things?

We have the strange case of Uche Agbo who has been invited for almost a year now without even a single game time. Nobody talks about him. Even the press is silent about him. Yet it's like the guy is a patient man waiting for his opportunity.

Rohr doesn't invite Kayode, wahala. He invites him even more wahala.

It makes me sad when accusations of tribalism begins to be made against this team.

If the teams likes let it be populated by gworo chewing abokis. Just play good football and win games. To hell with whatever tribe.

I'm sorry to say this... His name calling of some players is making this thread boring to me... In my personal opinion though .. Atleast he's not the only Yoruba guy here...

It's well with him... Am not really sure, there were time back that Yorubas polluted Nigeria team.oga icon4s ,kog45, Taliban please help me out .. Go check the female football compare the Yoruba players to other ethnics...

This is killing and destructing this country..

I know someone will still use big grammar to defend him and call all his words facts...

His players are not the only players that have excellent stat even others didn't shout...

I love forgiveness euthusiam but his ways of shouting and repeating words is killing... Seriously killing... I'm also a Yoruba guy too but I think if you mention things once or twice you stopped instead of calling names...

It's well with him...
