I think we established that DeBruyne did well and won MOTM in those his first 2 starts so everything you typed up here makes no sense.

Debruyne got those 2 starts because Mata was returning from injury and Willian was not signed yet. The plan was always to return him to bench when the big boys returned and treat him like some Ola Aina player. He wasn't having it and bounced cos he knew he is better than all those they put above him.
