Falana Denies Buying House From Wanted Ex-pensions Boss, Maina by Ebisco013: 10:26pm On Nov 21, 2017
Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), has denied buying any house from wanted former chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT), Abdulrasheed Maina.

Falana said on Tuesday in Lagos, that there was no truth in the claims.

He challenged Maina to produce the details of the house that he purportedly bought from him.

“Which house? Where is it located? Is it in Lagos or Abuja,” he asked.

“Let him give details of the house. I have never met him or had any dealings with him before.”

“He is engaging in the reckless blackmail because I criticized the careless handling of his matter by the federal government,” he maintained.

Maina, had through his lawyer, Sani Katu, alleged that Falana was a beneficiary of a recovered asset which was sold to him for N1billion.

According to him, “it was because the lawyer was a beneficiary of the recovered assets that he has resorted to attacking Maina, fearing that he would be exposed.”

“During the assignment of the Maina Led Pension Reform Task Force Team, it recovered assets and funds worth N1.6trillion. Amongst the real Estates recovered from pension thieves is a Maitama mansion worth N1billion situated at No 42 Gana Street, Maitama Abuja.”

Maybe falana bought it and did not know.

Come to think of it #1billion is no small money, if falana can afford such money then Nigeria is finished, these people are the same after all and when you hear them criticizing others and government you will think that they are saints fighting for the common man.

Cheap claim.
Why didnt Maina mention the address and type of building he claimed Falana bought from him.
Or does he think he is talking to his uneducated village people.
House number, type of house, amount sold and receipt or Maina should restrict his propaganda to his kinsmen.

Hmmm.
I remember he was also accused of having been 'dashed' a house seized from AA Rano by EFCC as part of his legal fees.
Very soon, his hard earned reputation will be very worthless, all thanks to his association with d dullard of daura and his govt.
He will be a classical example of a man who lived well but ended badly.

The recovered properties may have been auctioned off. Maybe he bought it then. But not from Maina

Maina should come out of hiding and face trial .... If falana bought house from pension thieves then he did no wrong since your idiotic task force didn't even publish a single name of the so called pension thieves you recovered such assets from.
