She actually sent a message first, if you noticed. The truth is very few people have the ability to start and sustain conversations online for a very long time. To some girls, they make it feel like its the man's 'duty' to be interesting. They add nothing to the conversation but they just want you to chat regularly with them. But you're right, its not only limited to the female folks alone.

It's very very annoying and this is mostly common when you're chatting with girls - lot of them. Some will even double the K.... Okk or even triple it. Nowadays, I don't take it annoying any longer cos I see ladies as weak gender. They can't reason like men

K is a letter.. Not a fvcking acronym or short form of okay. There is no way in the gadamn dictionary it was stated that K is a short form for okay.. And as such is silly to use it in conversations.

People who use "K" "KK" are either not interested in the convo or not that intelligent and they result in monosyllabic. I've studied this.

There's a girl that always chat me up first, she also ask questions alot but she make use of "K" most time(although she use "okay" sometimes), I usually always get annoyed but when I see she's always interested in chatting, I just ignore the "K" stuff, I assume/presume it's her habit.

In conclusion, like I said up there, people who use "K" are either not interested in the convo or not intelligent to type words correctly or compose sentences, in addition some are just being lazy or it's just a habit.
