somehow:
God, Germany even have up to 4 teams that can take on any teams in the world...now this is what I call a working national team. Injuries can't do nada to a country like this. I think their depth is even deeper than that of Brazil. They should be the tops in the world when it comes to depth.

If they use their advantage well, they should be winning the world cup repeatedly.

Have u seen France.

Yes that's true. in a friendly match in 2011 (if my memory serves me right). They rather fielded their B team and got humiliated 4-1. They later arranged another friendly and field their major team that walloped us silly (can't remember the score line)

Am sure he actually meant to say the first coach to beat Argies main Team...

They called it team B but the Argentina coach disagreed and even boasted he will flog us with his team.

So, it safe to say na Argentina we flog 4-1 not Team B.

In the rematch they flogged us 3-1 but na we win on aggregation. grin

What is the meaning of first coach to beat Argentina main team.

Let me give you the scorecards between the two countries

We played total of 13 matches Argentina (win) 6 (draw) 1 (lose) 2 (Goalfor) 12 (Goalagainst) 12 (point) 13,Nigeria (win) 2 (draw) 1 (lose) 4 (Goalfor) 12 (Goalagainst) 12 (point) 7.

There is nothing like team B in international friendly match and nobody is hating Rohr but that's the fact he was not the first Nigeria coach to beat Argentina.Samson yebowei Siasia was the first Nigeria coach to beat Argentina.

Let us always give respect to some of the achievements of our coaches cos some always full of excuses to downgrade their success.Do you want us to say Rohr beat Argentina cos Messi was absent,no is not tenable cos messi is not Argentina but a player playing for Argentina.

Truly the local coaches cannot be compared with foreign ones but they are the real foundation of Nigeria football.I remember the same Siasia won silver at Olympics but was not celebrated like Bonfrere Jo that won Atlanta 96 gold with bunch of Super eagles players.

Stephen Keshi won afcon but a lot believed it was luck winning all his matches from quarter final to final in 90 minutes but celebrate Westerhoff that used 5 years to nurtured a team to win afcon.

Let us just respect their achievement though they have their shortcomings and my advice i noticed some don't want Rohr to be criticised,no is not possible we need to evaluate him critically so that the team can grow.Criticising him is not hatred but for the love of the team.

Rohr has done well so far and kudos to him for yeoman job.

Yes.
There is also a possibility that buhari might ban us from participating in all sporting events in 2018, or Mikel might decide he's tired of playing football and retire.
There is also a possibility that Rohr might receive a higher paying job with another country and dump us, Or Balogun withdrawing from the world Cup to protest putin's hostility towards America. But you don't see us worrying about those, do you?
What's your point, man!

Here is Egypt's 3rd kit for the WC. I hope Nike doesn't disappoint us with our kit design. The one u posted looks good, but I doubt Nike would put the dash in the chest but they could leave the Eagles logo, seems most designers are now trying to engrave national teams' identities on jersey, reminds me of Senegal''s white Jersey at the Afcon earlier this year.

If Adidas were still our kit makers they would av given us a modernised version of our 1994 kit, that's what they v done for Spain Germany and Belgium

Well yes and no, as wingers usually switch positions these days. That's the beauty of dynamism.
So yes wingers cut in as well, and they also cross.

Why confuse me with yes and no. Of course they van switch postiton but that doesn't mean they won't retuen to their respective positions

What do you think of Ryan Ssegnon supposed best young LB in England? A bid of £30 million from Liverpool rejected.

I hope this Akpoguma is quality cos this one wey he can't make even the fourth German squad so. Someone here has hammered on the bolded. It's this guy that I doubt his post WC commitment to the Gwg if he makes it to Russia. Owngoalnigeria.com as usual. You guys know the drill.

GERMAN JOURNALIST – WHY GERMANY DON'T NEED ROHR’S TARGET AKPOGUMA
German journalist Roland Mark has taken a swipe at Hoffenheim defender Kevin Akpoguma who turning down the chance to switch allegiance to Nigeria and possibly go to the World Cup in Russia next year .
According to coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr talks are supposed to be held with the 22 year old soon as he views him as a player who can improve the defence of the team.
Mark who covers the Bundesliga however disagrees with Akpoguma’s stand regarding his reasons for snubbing Nigeria is because he feels he stands a chance to play for Germany.
It’s scary how some players think they can have a future at a team that doesn’t even know if they exist at all. I think Akpoguma is trying to get Germany to notice him by turning down Nigeria" Mark told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” This is the first time he is having a taste of the Bundesliga, and he is already 22. In the Germany national team there are about 8 players ahead of him, and a further 7 waiting in the wings. Among them he is by far the oldest among all and the least rated.
” If not for injuries he wouldn’t have been in the team of Hoffeinheim. Credit to him he has taken the chance to make an impression but in just few games, and one of the games was the one Rohr watched.
” He has to reconsider and play for Nigeria, that is his surest way of going to the World Cup. He need to take a cue from Leon Balogun who is now considered by some in Germany as one who got away from them, thanks to his display for Nigeria “.

I have posted it before but for reminders just take a look at the squad depth of Germany.

Well since Rohr said he need ball playing defender,Kevin fit the bill but nothing extra ordinary about him, have watched him thrice this season.

Ebuehi turning out for Holland is a far-fetched possibility, just like the ones I listed. If we are getting worked up about ebuehi turning out for Holland, what about the hundreds of other far fetched possibilities?
Should we be also worried about Rohr resigning from his Job? What about Mikel retiring before the world Cup? That's my point.
