Within 5 days I guess. My parents submitted their passport s on the 6th Nov while their passports were ready for collection on the 8th and 9th Nov respectfully

You can pay with Gt bank naira debit card (ATM card) , I have paid 2 Uk visa fees with it last month and last week.

Bless you too, hope you have submitted your passport and it's returned back? What duration where you granted? May parents got till the validity of there passports 4 yrs and 2yrs respectively.

You should be able to use the card if it's dollar dominated, I used my USD visa debit card to pay for both UK and Canada for my parents as well as Australia app.

Hello Guys , thanks for your prompt response. It has gone a long way. I'm about to submit my application and I have a few questions abeg no vex I ask a lot of questions just to be clear.
Basics
I'm applying for visiting (tourist)
- My account balance is less than 200k but I placed $1500Cad on my expenses for a week. I believe this is outside hotel reservation and flight.
- On the IMM5257E form there's a column for 'UCI' what do I write there.
- Under purpose of travel what do I submit. From what I've seen it states flight ticket, travel itinerary. How do I go about this? Will it be in form of a letter? Can I book a hotel? Can I book a flight? I plan visiting Niagara Falls (Toronto) and war museum at Ottawa, casa loma , ripleys aquarium. must the hotel I book close to it, if yes how close. Cos apart from Niagara falls , the other sites are close to each other.
- How do I write a letter of explanation.

@bigcil2, while including your coy tax clearance further strengthens your application, I don't think it is compulsorily a necessity because I did not include it in mine and was approved recently. If you have it, use it. If you don't have it, then don't sweat it.

However, I must also stress that you shouldn't be looking to use funds inside your company account as your only proof of funds. While the company statement of account shows your source of income, I think they don't expect you to mix biz with pleasure, so you should have a personal account for your personal expenses. It is of my opinion that it is better to support your application with a personal statement of account with substantial amount that can cover for your trip and even leave good cushion(as they don't expect you to spend all you have on a one week trip). Except this is a business trip, I don't think your company account as only proof of financial capability can fly. Just my thoughts and from what worked for me.

Do your homework before applying please.

@bigcil2, you have a very good response here by @justwise. Thats why I believe supporting your application with a personal bank statement(sufficient enough for trip and extra) will clear the VO's worry about gross/net et al.

Most Bank's debit card can be used now,CBN relapsed the ban months back unless you are telling us there is a new restriction. Try GTbank, FBN naira mastercards. They should work, cos from the last mail they sent, the monthly limit is $1000

Overall statement for a month is more than 3m but current balance is less than 200k that's what I meant. And I own my business I believe I can travel when and how I want.

A member of my church plans to sponsor me and my wife and two kids for a five days tourist to canada. He has a registered oil company, he will print the company's statement of account with the minimum of 50m balance with a letter backing it up from him as the one financing the trip.
I will be summit my pastoral i d card, itenary, marriage certificate, kids birth certificate, letter from kids school, land properties documents, self introduction letter, church recommendation letter, hotel reservation.
Pls do I stand a chance and what other documents do I need to summit, pls kindly advice me

My lovely nairalanders, please help me thank Almighty God o�. I was given the Canada visitor visa, valid till 2020 when my passport will expire,. I collected my passport on November 23rd. I submitted the passport at the visa application centre on 20th November after I received passport request on 19th November through online route. To God be the glory �, Praise God!

I will be surprised if you are given a visa. Company's money is not for foreign leisure trip, it's only for business trip.

You also need to proof that you have strong ties to Nigeria and not rely on 3rd party sponsorship alone.

You are a potential immigrant as you are traveling with your entire family on somebody else's expense.
