junnyjake: Yak refuse to join the team... Retired yesterday... Most prolific Nigeria striker in Epl with 95 goals one of the few players to score 4goals in a match and one the Teenagers to score hat trick in UCL and 21 goals for Nigeria making him the third highest goal scorer in Nigeria... Yak won't make it to Russia 2018... 1 Like |

goldfish80:Thanks for the correction,I can only recalled Ejide shaking start in most of our pre WC matches towards 2002 WC,just get the cleared pictures of 2014 match you are talking about but my man am still on my point nothing like match fixing. An Interpol was investigating a match before the match was played and Ejide still has the confidence to throw ball into his own net,my man all this are just assumption not fact and mind you Nigeria players are the least offenders when it comes to match fixing. It was not even rampart in Nigeria. On Argentina match i don't know what you are trying to say regards the match, are you saying we cannot beat Argentina 4-1 or Siasia lacks the tactics to beat Argentina that presumed the match was fixed. Firstly you made two contradicting statements in our discussion, you said FIFA wanted to ban Nigeria and i asked for what, later you said the referee was involved cos he gave a questionable penalty to Argentina. Pls something is not cleared about your allegations cos it was very grievous allegation which is not good for Nigeria football, who are the people involved,it seems Argentina were not involved from your comments, but it seems you are suspicious of Nigeria players even with the way you are beating your chest on it,you are well convinced it was match fixing. Now the question is did Nigeria player intentionally handled the ball that gave Argentina penalty or did refree intentionally blew unjust penalty,it look so contradicting that Nigeria and the refree cannot be guilty at the same time cos Nigeria player did not handled the ball,so why FIFA ban. Another question was all the goals aided by the referee cos i don't understand your point or the Argentines allowed us to score freely, honestly am more confused with your allegations. Mind you three parties must be involved when it comes to match fixing in that match, the refree(s),Nigeria player(s) and Argentina player(s),but the Argentina that should be major suspect was not even mentioned in your allegation but you keep on hammering Nigeria a team that scored four cleared good goals and also conceded an unjust penalty. So how come Nigeria was involved in your match fixing allegations, pls you need to explain in details. Pls no need of going into another match, let's talk on Nigeria vs Argentina match. 4 Likes |

pyrex23: Everton over Liverpool? No. The Intensity Liverpool play and train with will certainly improve Shehu Abdullahi. He will also train in a high technical system which will make him an asset to technical play of our team. If he has a chance, he should join Liverpool and train on a very high level. 6 Likes |

Kog45: You can fix a game with one or two players. Against a good side, all they have to do is create unnecessary gaps and a gifted technical team will do the rest. Two or three poor passes in that situation is enough to destroy a team. I am not saying the match was fixed but I read of the strange betting patterns during the game that spoilt the taste of the victory. |

There are some games I suspect match fixing but I keep to myself. One recently, I looked to the keeper and shook my head. "Shebi your account has collected your cut."

soetanoreoluwa:heeya....but we shouldn't give up... we can still call him out of retirement..we need him and Martins to power the attack come next year in Russia.... after the all....the likes of zidane came out of retirement to help France qualify and almost win the world cup.... so let us not give up on yak...we can still convince him.... 4 Likes 1 Share |

TheGoodJoe:Thanks thegoodjoe and happy birthday,am not disputing match fixing syndrome but you must have your fact before you make an allegation. Why should we say Nigeria vs Argentina was fixed just cos Siasia handled the match, the evolution of this discussion started when Napoleon said Siasia was not the first Nigeria coach to beat Argentina, later it led to he beat team B and Rohr beat Argentina main team but goldfish80 need to come out that the match was fixed, very grievous allegation without fact. So cos Siasia beat Argentina or has the record of being the first to beat Argentina we should rubbish his achievement just cos he is a local coach or what, that's my arguments. 2 Likes |
