Forget Zabaleta. We ain't talking about him. Sagna was Citys main RB last season and was quite strong. Navas had that overlapping energy and pace also and was deployed there. Zabaleta has never been that pacy player even at 22. He only started 11 EPL games last season. He is not someone you play highline with. If you do, that's your problem.

On top of that Kolarov has that energy and still displaying that at Roma. Clichy is even faster than Delph till today.

So not arguing that fullbacks have not improved Citeh. Any upgrade will improve them. I am arguing that what they had last season was enough for Pep to win.
