calalili2018: It varies from visa office to visa office. I learnt Accra VO is currently taking their time stamping passports. I sent my passport to Vienna and I received a yellow slip on the 20th that I should pick up my passport at the nearest post. The whole process took six days for me but some Accra (and New Delhi) applicants, the average is currently between 15-30 days. As per DHL or VFS. I can't help you on that. I personally believe it doesn't matter. They can't transmit your passport to you unless it has been stamped. So the VO mostly determines how long not courier service. I used swiss post which was the cheapest option available to me. cc Hamiltondreamer 3 Likes |

Saintp:How I was directed during mi time: from where they stop u, get to Garrison and board a taxi going to Abuloma, and stop at Felmo, there u will see Keke to KINGOLIZA HALLS it's on that same Street where they are loading. As for hotels there are many of them around the surrounding streets can't remember the name of the one I lodged in it was for 9k,there is also a guest house that goes for 4k all trekable to the hall. |

Hi Santino. I read from the cic website that we are to submit our passports to the visa office servicing our country of nationality orrr to the visa office of the country where you have been admitted for at LEAST one year. Now, I'm supposed to be in Switzerland in January and God willing I should get PPR before I'm out of Switzerland. Now my question is this, what if I submit my passport to Accra and don't get it back before I need to leave Switzerland? My visa isn't up to a year so I cannot submit to the visa office in Paris. How long after PPR mail do you have to submit your passport to the appropriate visa office? [quote author=Santino1 post=62742152] It varies from visa office to visa office. Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Santino1(m): 10:11pm On Nov 26, 2017 |
Owlette: Now, that would be dangerous. Except you have a valid residence permit, you can't be in Switzerland without your visa/passport. Just so you know the Swiss police sometimes randomly pick up people on the street and ask for their permit/visa (even Swiss and other Europeans). Usually around 30 days (at least for me). Also, except you are coming to Switzerland as a resident you'll likely submit to Accra not Paris/Vienna. 1 Like |

Thank you Santino1. I was actually gonna send it to Accra from Switzerland and move to Canada from there. I definitely have to get a new strategy. Thanks again Santino1: |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Santino1(m): 10:33pm On Nov 26, 2017 |
Owlette: Don't get me wrong. You can do it that way but I'm just letting you know the risks involved. Currently, the process is taking about 30 days on average for Accra VO and very few things are more dangerous in Switzerland than going a whole month without your residence permit/visa. I'm not saying it will happen but if you get checked during that period, the consequence can be huge. Also, to receive a package in Switzerland you need a valid address and you can't get one except you are a resident. If I were you, I'd make sure I send my passport before or after the Swiss trip but definitely not during. 3 Likes |

Newmum0615: I just submitted and it came back as " Not eligible". Under the job titles, Am I to pick from the options or type my appropriate job title? i.e, I didn't see "Assistant Banking Officer", hence I typed it in the space for Job title instead of picking "Banking Accounts Officer". Can I PM you? cc @Bsbabe |

With maximun scores in IELTS L8.5, R8, S7.5, W7.5 he will have CRS 414. I pray with him that the cut off for ITA comes down more otherwise his best bet is the PNP route. victory2017: 2 Likes 1 Share |

Hello everyone, I’m new here and I can say that this thread is very informative. I have been reading and taking notes all day. I just got my third and final IELTS results on November 24. LRWS: 8.5, 8.5, 7.0, 7.5. My ECA is still awaiting verification from my institution and my CRS score is 451. I hope to get advice here from time to time. 6 Likes |

Please reading through some pages now I stumbled on a page where someone wrote about POF using the valuation from an agent to secure UK visa. In my case I have a building valued at 7m some parcels of land which can go for 4m and planning to buy into Tbills with abt 2m to my questions please can valuation of this said properties be enough to scale through or must I show evidences of on going sales? Please just trying to understand how this works so as to get prep ahead |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by cochtrane(m): 12:53am On Nov 27, 2017 |
Medal007:You can't use property valuations as POF. You need to use money easily accessible, such as T-bills, cash at bank, mutual funds, etc. You'd need to sell the buildings and/or land, if you wanna use them. 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by DatechMan(m): 1:31am On Nov 27, 2017 |
Medal007:Yes, valuation is acceptable. You don't have to sell the property. However this has some difficulties. According to word on the street, you need 3 independent valuers for the valuation to be acceptable. consult CIC website for more info 2 Likes |

Godsaysyes: I am not clear on what you mean by typing appropriate job title. Where are you typing that? If you look through the NOC and it fits your job functions, simply adopt it and anywhere you are asked what your NOC is, you input 6235 - Financial Sales Representatives. However, when you are asked about your current job in particular e.g. start date, current job title, then you can state that you are an Assistant Banking Officer. Let me cite an example. In my case, my NOC is 0122 - Banking, Credit and Other Investment Managers and this is what I selected for NOC but my current job title is Head, xxxxxxxx. I hope this helps. |
