I would like to apply for a UK Visa December. My monthly salary from my main job after tax, pension is about N160K. Presently I have a balance of over N3 Million in my account. Although I do some one- off business by the side. The issue is that in September I received N1 Million commission fee (side business) from a company. This would definitely reflect on my six month bank statement I intend to submit with my application. How do I explain this huge deposit to avoid any suspicion of money lodgement? |

Stella02: Its her daddy and you are visiting them so it shouldn't really be an issue. Yes you have to submit your bank statement and your source of income because those are evidence of your tie to Nigeria. No matter who is footing the bills its important that you prove that you have something strong in Nigeria that you will come back to. |

Good evening to all in the house, To the gurus please assist me with some info. My wife's application form is being filled and we hope to submit it on Monday, now there is this part about dependent children that is giving me concern. We have 3 kids but my wife is a house wife and 2 of the kids are in the UK at the moment. My question is should we fill in the kids names as dependents? Secondly how relevant is the submission of flight reservations along with other documents? Thirdly, as the husband and sponsor what documents should be submitted besides my bank statement, should I include my letter of appointment, pay slips and stuff? I await your kind responses. Thanks |

Dear Justwise, Ekpotek, Brightingsus and other gurus in the house, My husband and I are in the U.K. On tier 2 visa. Our child is still in Nigeria because we didn't apply with him due to some circumstances then. My question is, can we apply with him to join us now. I'll definitely go home to attend the biometric with him. We want to apply for him under Tier 2 dependent- child. Thank you |

I made a mistake on my sons surname on the UK visa application and I just realized after I have printed it out. How do I amend this before going for my appointment? CC: justwise |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 10:08am On Nov 26, 2017 |
bambash: 1. Are your kids studying in the UK? If yes..who pays their fees and maintenance? 2. Flight reservation is not relevant 3. Yes you need to submit letter of appointment and payslips, you also need to submit family pictures and birth certificate of your kids |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 10:09am On Nov 26, 2017 |
Marytee2: Sure you can |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 10:12am On Nov 26, 2017 |
onyinyechika08: Correct the mistake on that printout, carefully cross-out the mistake and write the correct name beside it, a double line on the wrong name is enough then write the correct. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 10:22am On Nov 26, 2017 |
sunvick: I don't think that is allowed anymore, make a separate application for your baby. Add payslips to that list |

justwise: The kids are both in a public school. What I do from here is to augment their benefits. The kids birth certificates are over there in the UK will they accept copies at the VAC? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 2:29pm On Nov 26, 2017 |
bambash: You can submit copies they will scan that into their system and return hard copy to you, You also need your kids school documents, eg..their admission letter, copy of their school ID and recent progress report/result. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by bambash(m): 3:39pm On Nov 26, 2017 |
justwise: Ok cool, I will ask for those to be sent over. Thanks. So how about the part in the form that asks if my wife has dependent children. Does she say yes or no? Remember she is a house wife. Do I need to write a letter of consent in respect of the kid she will be traveling with and a letter indicating that I am sponsoring? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 4:12pm On Nov 26, 2017 |
bambash: It doesn't matter if she is a house wife or not the answer is yes because they are her kids. If you are not traveling with them then yes you have to write a letter of consent. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by oloolo: 3:42pm On Nov 27, 2017 |
If the money is been transfered directly from the company account I don't think this should have been an issue......cause the accountant or who ever is in charge of salaries would have credited the full sum. And am very sure those were likely cash deposits and not transfers But if u are sure u work there and are been paid the said amount ...u can write a letter with proper explanation and also get a letter from your office.......but believing u will be at the discretion of the VO. The VO is surely eagle-eyed. .. tmoneyluvsu: 1 Like |
