Hmm. I can't help you with the profile creation cos I haven't entered the pool yet. But i am sure that the NOC falls under B, so it should be acceptable. Others can help throw more light on this. But I want to ask why you are using Assistant Banking Officer as your job title, I thought that's a bank grade level not a job title. Not that the job title you input is important. Just asking out of curiosity. Godsaysyes: |

Bsbabe: Hello, Many thanks for this. the example u gave me was exactly what I did. I clicked NOC 6235-Financial Sales Representatives. under the job title, I typed Assistant Banking Officer and submitted. only to get the "Ineligible Notification in my box". |

Newmum0615: Good Morning Newmum0615, thanks for your response. Yes the NOC falls under B. ABO is my level presently but what do I write where they asked "Job Title"? It is kind of tricky and confusing. |

Godsaysyes: Are you trying to create an EE profile? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Nobody: 8:41am On Nov 27, 2017 |
Godsaysyes: I guess what she is asking is you should ideally have a job role apart from your grade e.g. Analyst/Team Lead or Member/Unit Head, Retail Banking /Commercial Banking / Corporate Banking? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Newmum0615: 8:47am On Nov 27, 2017 |
Exactly. He/She has to have a job title. ABO is not a job title. Only him/her can answer this question. Bsbabe: |

Godsaysyes:You need to check all the information you filled properly. You are probably getting ineligible because you didn't meet the 67/100 eligibility score. Your selected NOC is under skill level B so it should be the issue |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Newmum0615: 8:52am On Nov 27, 2017 |
Only you can really answer this question. Most marketers will likely have the following: Relationship Manager, Account Manager-Retail or Commercial Banking, Account Officer, Retail Banking Officer, Commercial Banking Officer, Personal Banking Officer, etc. You would surely have that kind of role nomenclature if you are working in a bank. So quickly decide and dive into that pool. Godsaysyes: |

I really need your help. Have been searching the NOC for what suits the job function of a teller in a bank to no avail. Do you have any idea? Do you know any teller that has filled the EE profile? I wish to pick the right noc. Pls house help me quote author=Bsbabe post=62747738] I am not clear on what you mean by typing appropriate job title. Where are you typing that? If you look through the NOC and it fits your job functions, simply adopt it and anywhere you are asked what your NOC is, you input 6235 - Financial Sales Representatives. However, when you are asked about your current job in particular e.g. start date, current job title, then you can state that you are an Assistant Banking Officer. Let me cite an example. In my case, my NOC is 0122 - Banking, Credit and Other Investment Managers and this is what I selected for NOC but my current job title is Head, xxxxxxxx. I hope this helps. [/quote] |

Macy4real200:What are your job function. What kind of teller work are you doing or did you do. Godsaysyes: Let me come in here. What are your job functions.Kindly state them.Grade and Job title/functions are two different things.Reduce the focus you have on your grade and focus on your job function so that you will get the appropriate job title |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Newmum0615: 9:39am On Nov 27, 2017 |
Hello Macy4real200, Your job role most likely falls under the NOC 1434 - Banking, insurance and other financial clerks which in turn is NOC C which also in turn does not qualify under FSW. Others should please weigh in, I can't be certain that I am right. But if you are a senior teller, then consider NOC 1212 Supervisors, finance and insurance office workers OR 6314 - Customer and information services supervisors. Macy4real200: |

Bsbabe: Yes, I am trying to do just that. I just want to stay guided so as to avoid misrepresenting. Some Job description under 0122 fits into what I do in the office but 100% under NOC 6235. Can I PM you? I will appreciate. Thanks. |

Macy4real200: This is tricky here it means you may have done three jobs if l am not mistaken Teller service representative Cash Teller Service supervisor Customer Service Manager or Operations Manager Correct me if l am wrong So it has gone beyond NOC 6314.Your reference letter or so will carry 3 job functions/Job title.Let give a picture l worked in a Bank.l started as a teller service represenative then l was transfered to Business Banking AKA Marketing and stationed as Personal Banking Officer. My reference letter carried the two Job functions but l input only Personal Banking Officer with the experience to claim points because it is under NOC B while l put the teller service Rep under personal work history because it is NOC C |

Hmm, that's a bit tricky cos of the "not up to 1 year ish". Before you became Ops Head, where you strictly a cash/FT teller? or did you double as a Cash Officer/Senior teller? Macy4real200: |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Macy4real200: 10:05am On Nov 27, 2017 |

Macy4real200:No be supervisory role be that? Take a look at for Senior teller NOC 1212 for a start Then look at NOC 1114 for funds transfer if l got you right how many years did you spend in each position so that your reference letter will reflect all this |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Newmum0615: 10:07am On Nov 27, 2017 |
So go for 6314 if you were in that role for at least a year and put other roles under personal history. Macy4real200: |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Macy4real200: 10:10am On Nov 27, 2017 |
You see why I am totally confused. Is only customer service manager that falls under B. However, I worked for about 4 years in a printing press as head, business development executive. Don't know if I should just use that one. Though I resigned since 2012 from there. I can still get reference letter from my former boss. But I may not be able to access payment slips. What's ur take on that. dannio: |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Newmum0615: 10:12am On Nov 27, 2017 |
Then what are you waiting for? Use that one sharpaly. 2012 still falls within 10 years, so you are good to go. You don't need payslips if the ref letter is provided in CIC format. Macy4real200: |
