Godsaysyes: Yes if the PM works. Note though that 0122 requires that you lead and coordinate a function/department etc. Do you? Let me try to help with your EE profile. Under Work History, you have ‘Occupation’ and ‘Work History’ as two separate tabs. Occupation will only ask for your NOC. If you have determined what it is, input it there. Under Work History however, it will ask for your NOC - out your determined NOC, Employer Name, from and to dates, Job Titled - this is where you input either RM, Account Manager, Team Lead etc (whatever your job role is). Apologies as I have mistakenly added two screenshots to this post and I am unable to delete. 1 Like 1 Share

Good afternoon Great people, please I have a little challenge. I did medicals last year November 26th for normal visa application, however I have not been able to do a current one for my EE. I waited till today to see whether the first one will expire but the doctor said she can't gain access to modify my profile. I don't know whether to wait or try another hospital. The doctor said she will send them a mail and give me a response but I have limited time. Kindly advise on what to do next. Thank you |

Good afternoon Superdoll, Thanks once again for your response. Quick one dear . . . When filling the ICES application form, did you also fill that part that talks about giving ICES permission to release my info to another party? Also, did you choose to pay the extra $75 for courier? If you used standard (just the normal $200) did ICES dispatch the hard copy evaluation to your address? superdoll: |

Is your designation at your place of work Banking Account Officer? You alone know this as it varies from bank to bank. You need to confirm this so that your designation in your reference letter to be issued by your employer is not at variance with what you have written. ABO is just a grade and as such if you are promoted today, your job description and designation may not change. With respect to your apparent ineligiblity, are you trying to create an EE profile? Confirm that you have had your educational credentials assessed, have your language test results and adequate POF. Also use the FSW tool to confirm you have up to 67/100. Godsaysyes: |

Head of operations is NOC 0122. Cash officer/Head teller is 1112. Teller is 1434 which unfortunately does not qualify for FSW. Be careful with the periods you performed each job role bearing in mind that tellers in most banks are outsourced and the bank may not give you a reference covering this period. bestdiddy:When I filled my application I just typed Canadian Immigration and All Canadian Provinces The extra $75 will enable them courier the ECA to you because they wont send you soft copy. Funny enough I just went to UPS to collect mine today at UPS office when I tracked and I saw the thing hanging in their office due to incomplete address (na road my house de o) they said the address is not popular. 1 Like |

Some miscellaneous things I forgot to include in my long PPR epistle: Status Change: I was actually into the status progression thing (I even made a long post about it which is now hidden) but I realised now that sometimes it's only an educated guess and can be misleading. I was expecting my additional status to change to "we do not need additional documents" but until this moment it is still showing "the additional you provided are being reviewed" and I have received my COPR. Note also that I never received any ADR so I don't know what "additional" document is being reviewed. Also, I have heard of people that received PPR while still in NA2. So don't fret if you don't see the usual/regular status that everyone gets. Passport photographs: Kontagious already alluded to this. You don't need to waste your money taking separate pictures for eAPR and PPR. I simply went to the studio and told the lady to take a passport following the CIC specification. After printing, I asked her to save the soft copy on my USB. I used photoshop to edit the dimension to the eAPR specifications and voila!!! The printed copy I used for my COPR. I hope this little tips help. 15 Likes 1 Share |

Hello e-fam. Calling on all PPRs and CoPRs in the house! I have not heard any of our recent PPRs and CoPRs come here and talk/advise about their experiences with pre-arrival services with organisations such as "ACCESS Employment" and "Planning for Canada" These are organizations fully funded by the Government of Canada to offer free pre-arrival services and NOC-specific trainings (to aid ease of Canadian job environment transitioning) to PPR/CoPRs holders prior to their landing in Canada. I just finished speaking with a friend that landed in Canny in September 2017 but before he left Nigeria, he and his wife availed themselves of the 8-weeks online trainings in their specific NOC and after the training, he tried his luck in applying to some jobs in the town he would be settling in, his attempts paid off as he got a job offer to resume upon landing. He told me he attributed the job he got to the pre-arrival services online trainings he got (which reflected on his Canadian format-CV submitted for the job), the referral from one of the facilitators at a pre-arrival session he attended (which he said he actively participated in & got the attention and admiration of the facilitator that showed him the opening and recommended him) You can only enroll for this Pre-arrival services if you have NOT landed in Canada but already have your PPR or CoPR and have more than 8 weeks to spare in Nigeria before departure and guess what? IT IS FREE!! Pls do your research on this, if interested! My prepuz, don't let us be dulling good opportunities that will maximally impact our smooth settling in Canny, using such good valuable pre-departure time to be packing garri and ogbono alone is not smart o You may choose to invest your pre-departure time wisely!! It will all end in praise IJN! 46 Likes 10 Shares |

Some Provinces need particular CRS to apply like Ontario. I suggest you put your info like job reference, IELTS test result, ECA etc together. About 3 or 4 Provinces will open next year January. Datnaijaninja: 1 Like |

Thanks. I called my former boss where i worked in a printing press as business development manager (2008-2012) to ask if he can give me a reference letter for this purpose. He told me he will gladly do it. So am going with noc 6411as it best suits what I did in the past. Just hope the period in question is still valid. Besides, am wondering if I should still put the banking experience in personal history. I can provide my employment letter and salary acct print out to prove this. What do u think dfanz: |
