Hello house, I use a 1.1Kva Microtek UPS/inverter and its working fine but my issue is this; the inverter doesnt hav a user interface display so i cant ascertain how much juice i have left in my battery bank. Is there a workaround to this? Maybe something i could buy and attach to display the Battery meter?

I use exactly same inverter like yours and my display meter works perfectly well in displaying accurate battery volt information for years now.. There are battery bmv 700 in makes like fangpuson or victron within 30-40k in stock ... I use a led display which displays exact battery voltage for just 5k as shown in picture below ; contact 081-350-319-51 if solely interested ! Cheers

Its all same incase you ain't aware ... What you displayed rarely exist here under demand in Nigeria as most inverters has inbuilt battery display led or lcd for soc % DOD guide ... I replied about mine which has been working for years as my 28.5v might be your 100% display on yours whilst my 22v might be your 50% display.. You can personally order that you seek if really interested ! Cheers

I do not discharge the batteries beyond 50%. otherwise it well gradually start losing strength, likewise deep cycle battery will weakened if discharged beyond 50% repeatedly.
so what is special about deep cycle. thanks

By ordinary sealed battery, do you mean car battery? because deep cycle batteries also come as sealed as a variant? so be explicit with the kind of battery you meant

The name differentials solely answers your question .. Agm/fla deep cycle batteries have a more defined cyclic nature when applied in renewable systems, whilst ordinary SMF car/truck/generator batteries were specially designed for "cranking" ... Cheers!

u guys bought refurbish brand new battery trust me life expentancy of rite battery is 5 years u can also try battery like amaron,full river,elfson,quanta also 5years bluegate,mercury, Gp, life,sucam expectancy is 2years or 1years or below 1year with light load and good management 3years

An original deep cycle battery will not just die when discharged to 100%;
rather it will shorten the lifespan by more than half if you do this continuously. If the battery was to last 1 yr before;
it will only last 3-5 months.
A car battery that is deep discharged more than 10 times, is already dead and cannot come back to life.
You might not notice when its powering small loads; but put in a car and try to start it; or connect a larger load;
I'd bet the voltage drops off a cliff.
