If you want the world to take notice and to give a damn, pray that they steal a white female and enslave her. You will then see immediate attention and responses of warnings, ultimatums and threats of war from the west. This is what Africa should be doing, uniting to put a swift end to this. Don't wait for the west to give a damn. |

In a real sense, the issue in Libya is a failure on different level. Firstly, we have an embassy in Libya. They kept on saying they are investigating. Now that their investigation has revealed they did not do much. The ambassador is to resign. Secondly, we need to give the Libyan government an ultimatum to produce the perpetrators of these grave crimes or face expulsion of Libyans in Nigeria and using all diplomatic efforts in all ECOWAS country. If they do not heed this warning do to them what they still do to blacks and Nigerians especially. Harvest their organ and create a Libyan slave markets for them and the world to gall on. This government has to take Nigerians seriously, this country we need to take ourselves more seriously. It is not every road leads home. An Algerian, Angolan, Gabonese will not stoop to conquer: he will conquer standing up and demanding all applicable human right while getting it. We must insist on getting a better deal from those we elected to govern us, or make the country too hot for them. Instead of finding all the time greener pastures outside, only to be a dreg in other society selling ourselves short all the time. The time is now. No more Andrew checking out of the country, No more trying my hustle in US, London and abroad No more managing way. No more suffering and smiling. It is time to demand leadership, accountability, equitable wealth and fairness, or die while trying in our land with dignity rather than being sold as a common ware, a degrading slave and used as an object of organ provider. If all that is required for a dignified living in Nigeria is provided by those we call leaders, no will want to go through the hazard of illegal migration. Im against illegal entry into countries. But how far can you blame a man or woman who wants to make honest money in a society that rewards your labour. There's no law against seeking a better life. One thing you can say for these migrants is that they are brave. Fearless fighters. I might not have followed their steps not because I don't want to but because I'm afraid. I salute their courage. I woorked with an American sometime back and challenged him on him being called an expatriate when he works in Africa and I'm labelled economic I'm igrant when I work in the west. He was honest enough to tell me it's the fault of our leaders. He said if it was better for him in the US, he wouldn't need to have come to Africa to work. He ended by saying, we all are economic immigrant. They, the west write the narrative. That's why we would be called third world nations, whatever that means. Economic immigrants because our cleptomeniac leaders have plundered our commonwealth and made it personal wealth. The conduct of these so called leaders should spark an outrage within us. But guess what. After the initial out cry, it will be business as usual. We would forget those we are suppose to hold accountable. Some of us will go to church and shout at God in the guise of prayers. Others like senators and house of Representatives members might debate and condemn it. The underlying root cause which is well known by is never addressed. You might not have been auctioned physically in Libya, but by association and identification as a Nigerian, we were all auctioned. It's a national shame and disgrace. It's unfortunate that we are always in the news for the wrong reasons. must it always be Nigeria? Why must it always be Africa? Why must it always be the black man? I weep for the Black Race. I weep for the Black Man. Must we continue to remain savages? 2 Likes 1 Share |

Well, don't just talk, authorise the use of force: send the Nigerian Army through Niger and teach the Libyans an unforgettable lesson! Nigeria must be respected and feared in the world, and especially in Africa! |

sapele914: Your rantings would have made sense if the capital of delta state was not shortchanged from Ughelli North to Asaba. The politically permutations were influenced by a superpower and thereby created a negative shift in the system! Nigeria has been bad from day one after independence. Nepotism, corruption and ethnic bigotry became the other of the day and the promises and potentials of Nigeria ran for cover! You are from Jeremi-Town and I can tell you that everything you have to show for are just huge oil pipelines passing through your lands and stretching further to the north. If true federalism was followed, Jeremi would have been a metropolitan city with all the necessary amenities as your disposal. You should go to the history books to update your thought processes before you talk, or better still, your parents should have told you all these things. An injustice to one ethnic tribe is directly proportional to an injustice to every tribe out there. 1 Like |
