This government has to take Nigerians seriously, this country we need to take ourselves more seriously.

An Algerian, Angolan, Gabonese will not stoop to conquer: he will conquer standing up and demanding all applicable human right while getting it.

We must insist on getting a better deal from those we elected to govern us, or make the country too hot for them. Instead of finding all the time greener pastures outside, only to be a dreg in other society selling ourselves short all the time.

If all that is required for a dignified living in Nigeria is provided by those we call leaders, no will want to go through the hazard of illegal migration. Im against illegal entry into countries. But how far can you blame a man or woman who wants​ to make honest money in a society that rewards your labour. There's no law against seeking a better life. One thing you can say for these migrants is that they are brave. Fearless fighters. I might not have followed their steps not because I don't want to but because I'm afraid. I salute their courage.

I woorked with an American sometime back and challenged him on him being called an expatriate when he works in Africa and I'm labelled economic I'm igrant when I work in the west. He was honest enough to tell me it's the fault of our leaders.
He said if it was better for him in the US, he wouldn't need to have come to Africa to work. He ended by saying, we all are economic immigrant.

They, the west write the narrative. That's why we would be called third world nations, whatever that means. Economic immigrants because our cleptomeniac leaders have plundered our commonwealth and made it personal wealth.

The conduct of these so called leaders should spark an outrage within us. But guess what. After the initial out cry, it will be business as usual.
