PETERiCHY: Yes peter I remember when you alerted the house you bought Transcorp at 80kobo and later told us you sold at 90kobo. Now you dont have it.so there is no difference between you and i now. You still have the opportunity to buy it now before the news we are expecting comes to the public. |

tritritri: It couldn't have been you. There was a single block of 99,875 units on his own statement but that didn't reflect on your own statement. We should also consider the fact that Peter didn't buy any DF stock, he could have made his purchase on "photo shop".... |

currentprice: As I said earlier, crossdeal at 1.26 when the floor price is 1.36 is a thing of concern to me. Well,I am not botherd hence the investor is here to make his own money. I am here because of that news and its gonna be a positive one. When it comes,we will apply it to the stock and know the value of the stock. You might be proved wrong hence the fundamentals and other information about the stock changes. I just pray this is a handwriting of a foreign investor. |

locodemy: prove wrong ke,,,this is not new to me. currentprice has been proving wrong many times. but currentprice will act on available report as i am not trained in using wisdom. when positive news comes i will re analyse if necessary to join i will join even at N3 no prob. atleat by then i will know what i put my money on. but now to put my money on wht my system told me fair price is 80k is an abuse of my syatem. 1 Like 1 Share |

I don't think discussing peoples purchase on a particular stock or showing evidence of sales is important here...I thought dis forum is for discussing foundermentals and technical analysis of stocks. Please lets keep it cool, after all some one bought 5 - 10 million units of FBNH @ 7.10 and we didn't hear anything. Brodas plsss let's keep personal issues as side and teach one another how to take gud positions in d stock market... GOD bless our portfolios.. ONE LUV 5 Likes 1 Share |

tritritri:Although I've made something from this stock, I still aquire more units at any time. You may keep on saying that you regret selling and the stock will continue to advance. Right now, it is only 10 Naira. Very low price. Even when I consider the fundamentals of Dansugar, I don't fear buying, even at 17 Naira. So, you may take action. Most of you were already saturated with making money, and calling for Bear, when I started trading by October. Right now, I've made good money. Even in the face of occasional fluctuations, there is no reason for any serious bear for now. Diversification will average out frunctuations. Then, if need be, a little patience on the trade. 2 Likes |

I normally don't like posting in bullish periods because of the popular knowledge that everyone becomes an expert in such periods. But I feel obliged to give some thoughts to newbies as they pay their NSE fees. What is suddenly moving the market? Why are prices going up generally? The answer is simple. No more 18%+ interest in Treasury Bill. No more 16%+ interest in Bonds. All the monies that left the market as a result of the sudden increase of interest rates at the peak of our recession is returning back to the stock market. This is good for the market but has a very big disadvantage to inexperienced traders. Why? Because all the stocks will appreciate in price Will they remain so? No Why? Because investors will soon discern the good stocks from the bad and hence offload the bad to unfortunate hands who will then hold them through the bearish period or sell at a loss In all this, it is important to know everything about the company you are buying their shares, what is in it for you, what is moving their price and most importantly, your exit plan when poo hits the fan. I give you an example, what's special about Fidelity Bank? Is their numbers the best in the banking index? No then why is everyone looking their way right now? Simply because they declare good dividend historically. Now, you follow the band wagon, buy Fidelity because of this fact, not planning your trade. After the dividend play and ex-dividend date, the players will exit and this will pull back the price. Why? It will no longer be fruitful to hold Fidelity until the next dividend period chikena. Another of such company is Afriprud. These are even companies with good financials o. So what happens to you if you had gone ahead to buy caverton because the price is rising with the general bull? Or CI Leasing? Or even Skye Anyway, I'm in my house. If my opinion annoyed you, come and beat me 4 Likes 1 Share |
