I just checked out Ndidi's snapchat It looks like Kelechi was not feeling fine,I think that was why he was not listed. And it seems Kelechi doesn't like picking his calls.Ndidi and Ahmed musa(not sure)were teasing him in pidgin like:"give us he number way be say if person call you,you go pick your call,or even anything happen to you, give us that special number way if we call you go pick because you don't answer your phone"The other guy said :"I call you yesterday you no answer, them come tell me say you no well". That was their conversation 7 Likes |

Taliban:in that Chinese league...between ighalo and martins who has scored more goals this past season....? what will martins bring to the table that the eagles are lacking? ighalo offer all he could offer....so why the fuss for his call up? ighalo mikel are still in the super eagles reason because prior their call up....to the national team...they were in a much a better and recognised league.....and their quality was never in doubt..... 3 Likes |

That's if offers come for them. They also wouldn't go for other reasons, you think Ighalo that went to China same with Mikel are less quality to the players you're talking about? No one is against 'Nigerian' players in England. Some are playing because they are needed and those not playing have better replacement! BascoVanVeli: 1 Like |

somehow: Mikel and Ighalo could not stay in England because of their clubs, not because other clubs didn't want them. U can't condemn a player for going England, we should want our players in the best competitions. I don't mind them not playing but the treatment for the most part has been disrespectful and suspicious to say the least. 1 Like |

calmness is not just a question of age or where someone is? I have seen aged people and also obviously experience people fret or anxious when least expected. In contrast, I have also seen youngsters stake a claim even at the highest level with calmness. If you've not tried someone, don't write them off. goldfish80: |

Taliban:the issue is not Witt the Argentine team being aged, the issue is that they are aged and have no team chemistry because they have not even stayed long enough in the team to have chemistry. Benedetto is 29 with just four caps, Perrotti is 32 abi how old? With just three caps. With all the subs they made, I understood more and more why the team couldn't crack us open in the second half. |

Where in my post did I condemn England? I only said if a club isn't playing you, find one that needs you. There are English clubs with less quality strikers in the EPL if they must stay, let them work their way into such clubs and become masters there. Moses did it with wigan when Chelsea didn't need him, now he's a first team player in the same club same with Lukaku, Chelsea felt they didn't need him, he left for everton and became lord and master and got signed for a huge amount to man U. Same with Salah, Chelsea or the coach didn't use him when he was signed, now he's bossing the EPL with goals and a starter with Liverpool. Simply go to clubs that need you more than you need them, steal the show, a better club will make room for you and won't bench you again once you become consistent. Nigerians aren't the only ones sitting on the bench in the UK, others are too, just don't find yourself in a club that does not need you. BascoVanVeli: 1 Like |

safarigirl:As at this moment, Ighalo is first choice. He plays the lone striker role better than Nacho. Only way Nacho starts over him is in a 3-5-2. I like Dessers as well. I want Rohr to give him and Martins a chance. 1 Like |

edi287: he should also give Paul and kayode a chance....and likewise Dennis and yinka.... then he could take 32 players to the world cup.....? if we are going to adopt also the formation we played against the Argentines. ...it means we will need few top 9.... you could see the likes of iwobi, nacho were already registered as CF.... so Martins may likely wait for Qatar 2022 2 Likes |

somehow: I was speaking in general not exactly about u. Mo Salah and Victor Moses were at Chelsea so we can understand the difficulty they were having but when clubs like Leicester City won't even afford a player as experienced as Musa a place on their bench then something fishy must be going on. The media play a role in the indirect hate that goes on, I remember Ian Wright opening his mouth to say Musa, Iheanacho and Ndidi were not good enough for Leicester. When our boys miss matches their media overlook it completely. No journalist ever asked a Leicester coach the simple question of why he feels Ahmed Musa is not good enough for the team. 2 Likes |

Icon79: Football is a short term vocation in the space of one season of poor performance and a player can loose 75% of his value. You are only as good as your last game a few months of poor performance and you can be forgotten a whole season and you can be archived. 70% of coaches in the EPL and Championship willl get thier jobs by network. At this stage of the game race will be a big issue. However, those dynamics are very different around the London city Region where at Tottenham for instance half the coaches are black. When it comes to Management that figure becomes very skewed and racism is alive well and kicking. What many of you do not realise those figures are a representative reflection of senior level executive management positions across the UK. How many of the 000's of black and or Nigerian qualified doctors and managers become executive directors in the NHS How many black and or Nigerian over qualified comparative to thier white pears, black and or Nigerians are executive directors of Banks, BBC, Central and Local government, etc, etc in the UK. I can go through nearly every sector and you will find the same observation. So whether you were born in England or not your black and not really British unless you want to decieve yourself. However, when it comes to player selection racism is not as pronounced. Managers in General (there are exceptions) will choose the best players they can get period. I know of a number of football club academies that will target black players for thier athleticism. With regards to KC this has nothing to do with racism. Simply put KC does not have the primary attributes to succeed as a striker at Leicester City. Which is what the Leicester bought him for to be a striker. KC does not have the pace of Vardy to lead the front line, he does not have the physicality to leasd the front line comparative to Okazaki and or Islamani. Some may not like to be told that KC lacks the technical superiority, skill and trickery comparative to Mahrez and Grey. So if you were a manager would you be choosing him over these players. He has been given opportunity but has fallen short, in the EPL you don't get a lot of time. Now he must work increase Bristol capacity learn to use his right foot change his style of playing adapt otherwise it's down hill. When KC was at City he was surrounded by world class midfielders who compensated for his short comings and played to his strengths. That not withstanding he lacked the pace of Sane, Gabriel and Raheem. Games are won with small margins of competitive advantage. KC did not bring those advantages to the table to the standard required by City. However, he might do it for someone else hence the buy back clause which is about taking a chunk of any possible future transfer fee. KC has been lucky to have the opportunity to be playing for the SE. And doing well. However, that doesn't mean someone else given the same opportunity may not have done better. |
