Thanks @cochtrane. So you got an extension I believe?

cochtrane:

Did this successfully. Send a mail to your visa office and attach evidence of travel. Give them a week to get back. If they don't, follow up with a CSE. You should be able to sort it out in two weeks.

Bsbabe, your suggestion makes sense. But I was actually approving/rejecting the credit requests received from customers through their account officers. I was not market facing. 6235 looks like what a relationship/account officer would do. I was not interfacing with customers directly. Hmm. This thing ain't easy sha. Thanks for your suggestions. You have opened my eyes to this possibility.

Sweetheart, please review the bolded duties. They don’t imply they are market facing. You were approving/rejecting credits? It says in one line “or approve or reject applications within authorised limits ensuring that credit standards of the institution are respected”. Didn’t you also mention reviewing in line with RAC when you listed your duties? Is your Bank’s RAC not ‘credit standards’? You said you “ensure customer’s repayment capacity”, they say “evaluate loan applicant’s ability to pay the loan” etc and you say it is still a possibility.

I can’t help you further o lol grin Maybe non-bankers will see it as a possibility but from a banker to another, this should bring you to the end of your search but hey, the decision is still up to you.

Hi cochtrane,

Please can I have a sample of the letter for your mutual funds POF?

Send me a pm. I'll send you a redacted version.

Thanks very much!

cochtrane:

You should explain if it makes you feel more at ease with your application. However, I wouldn't think it's necessary. Just my personal opinion. I didn't explain the source of the funds I had in my mutual funds. Just tendered the letters.

If you could, attach payslips. That could help with explaining your funds.

Please if one gets a visa denial after submitting documents do you need to inform CIC about the visa denial again? Or it does not count since documents av bn submitted. Thanks in anticipation

I don't think so. Change in family status, job , location i think those are the changes that CIC ask for. Except you get a travel history ADR after submission then you should include it

Family composition has not changed and my marital status is still same. Is it necessary to fill the imm0008 and additional family info requested in the PPR letter?

Go to page 0. Everything you need is there. Come back and ask specific questions when it's unclear...that is, if it hasn't been flogged several times here. To find out if it has been discussed previously, use the search button by entering the keywords.

Though it's not explicitly required to notify them of situations such as this, you should know that you need to inform them if the reasons for the denial is security-related. Usually they want notification if there are important changes to your application, like marriage, divorce, family composition, address maybe, etc. But if there's a security situation (or development) causing that visa denial, you'd need to raise a CSE and let them know. If you don't and they find out and have to investigate, it could delay your application significantly.

I don't know much about bank jobs, but I feel you are more likely NOC 4163, or at least under the 416x. Check it out
