The baby food masher is a good investment. buy it from aliexpress(free shipping) if possible. I think it's much more cheaper than buying it from the stores here. It's useful when there's no power supply.

You once mentioned power supply is good in your area so buying the hand blender is not a bad idea too. It saves time and gives a very fine texture.

I use the small grinder/mill that comes with blenders for my ds and I like the result it gives me... smooth

I've read that green poop could be a sign of infection or excess iron in the body..... I'm not sure of the excess iron though. I'd advise you take him to the hospital for proper check up and to also put your mind at ease

This thread has taught me a lot, that sometimes I wonder what I would have done in certain situations if I wasn't on nairaland.

This is late but I think you should suspend the walker for a while. I read some children get so dependent on it that trying to get themselves around on their own is stressful so they don't bother. My baby was about 9kg at 6 months and he crawled and is walking without issues. Your baby's weight is fine

Please my baby has refused to crawl at 7months+ and some mothers advised me to bath him with Epsom salt to reduce his weight that his weight has been hindering him from crawling. He weighed 9kg at 6months. He can raise his chest with his two hands but to raise his hips up is where the issue is. He doesn't make attempt to pick anything outside his reach no matter how beautiful the toy is but he is very good on his walker. he is a very gentle and lovely boy. People's advice got me thinking because I don't really see any problem with his growth until they called my attention to it.

Sometimes AF is heavier and more painful after delivery, I experienced same didn't use to have cramps but started when AF came 6months post partum. But the heavy bleeding and pain stopped after 7 months, my friend's own stopped after 3 months. So just hang in there it will regularise over time.

Green poo is sometimes due to insufficient feeding rather than overfeeding. If you are so sure he is not underfed then you have to go to the hospital because a week is a long time.

Pls your baby will crawl when he is ready. Dont put him or yourself under unnecessary pressure.

i saw blood stain in fact it even stained my night wear,I am not feeling any abdominal pain(the blood stain is with mucus)I don't know what to do.

Hi Mama. Long time. All these weaning questions, fear just dey catch me cos I have thoroughly spoilt my baby with brezz. He wakes up 3 times in the night just to suck small and continue sleep. And I plan to wean in February. God dey
